That was brilliant, hands down my favourite entry to date.
Spot on a clone of Beat Sabre. Controls felt right, music was amasing and visuals were amazing.
Hats off to you, you've done a fantastic job!

I wish there was a way to encourage the player to be more in sync with the music, however it's still a fun time killer :) good job!
I have not played the adapted game, but this is executed well with great polish.
The only way I could beat an 'insane' beat saber course.
Nice idea! Adding the 'slice direction' capability will help A LOT with level design, difficulty level and overall fun.
It's a nice attempt. I like the visual style of the menu. The difficulty curve feels really off though and the lack of a lose condition makes it hard. It feels like the animation for the cubes doesn't foreshadow the new line as well as other games of this nature (Osu).
Perhaps having a dynamic slicing animation, better foreshadowing of the cubes, a UI element for your current 'life' and different sound effects for slicing would make it better. Still it's nice and novel. The aesthetic is definitely on the right track and I think with some more polish this game can be a lot of fun. I can imagine just slicing rows of cubes back and forth, alternating my key press
To me what makes these games great is that it feels like you're playing along with the music. The audio, the appearing nodes and the player's interactions all work together to create a beautiful experience. I feel this one missed the mark on that. The collision or "success" sound was distracting from the song rather then adding additional value and the nodes seemed to appear with little flow between them. I haven't played beat saber but after watching videos its right on point with all the other same genre games (guitar hero and rock band for ex). You definitely nailed the graphical theme from 3d Beat Saber to 2d Beat Squares but failed to emulate the experience of this genre :(
Please take this as constructive criticism rather then a bash
You did great job on this game. Your take on the on 2D Beat Saber was really interseting
Beat Saber is one of my favorite games, I'm glad you did it in 2D! This was amazing, and I loved the music!
