I really like the art and sound of your game.
The artwork is macabre but quite good! I got the hang of the mechanics, managed to kill some enemies. The UI needs some work, like bigger symbols table. Keep up the good work!
I really couldn't figure this one out. The first time I did the attack for 2 damage it was fine, then the board changed and it never let me do that attack again. Even if I had the right combination of symbols it never switched to the top down targeting screen and it wouldn't let me do an 'attack all enemies' attack either. Not sure if i just didn't understand it or if this is a bug but it also would randomly highlight symbols I didn't want as if they were attacked to the chain.
I also think you missed out on the 'adapt a mechanic from another game' part of the theme, although the choice to just play with dimension was interesting.
We didn't have time to make a proper tutorial. After you use a symbol for a spell, it will turn tan. Tan symbols do not work for white spells. Tan symbols work for spells that take tan symbols. Thank you for the feedback.
Not sure if I fully understood the gameplay, but props for creativity and a really unique art style :)
