This is definitely a skilled based one and i commend you for making a great mechanic!! It does really feel good when i recover all of my stamina quickly through the bird transformation. Love the 2.5 D perspective. I am a fan of that kind of art style!!

Some feedback:

1) After winning the game, the scene changes back to tutorial mode without any door to restart the game (screen shot below)

2) The indicator for the stamina regaining seems a little confusing as it doesn't feel too much like anything is regaining. It looks more like i am getting hurt. Probably because of the shape language and color (red = bad, jaggy edges feels dangerous)

3) It would have been awesome if I could hit downward or upward but that's more of a feature request than anything else!

You got yourself a very clever game here!! Hope that you're able to make more levels!

Thank you for playing and for the feedback :)

Though I feel like I should explain some things .....

1) It's a known bug lol. I've even mentioned on the game's page that it will happen

2) It's just an indicator for low stamina. Your stamina will regain very slowly in wizard form but the red indicator just means you have low stamina and can't attack. You have to move around in bird form for it to regain quickly

3) I'm not sure why everyone is saying that they wish they could attack enemies above or below them because you can. The area of your sword attack covers the point right above and below you as well

Really clever idea with the bird mechanic! I did enjoy the game overall, but the combat felt a bit akward at times! Great job nonetheless!

Incredible submission. Great set of mechanics that work really well together and an awesome presentation. The birdform easily matches Dishonored's Blink in terms of mobility mechanics. This would've sold as a PSP mini or DSIware. If I have to mention some negatives: Attacking upwards was awkward and I'm not a fan of the pixel art warping/stretching.

I really really enjoyed playing this game, the bird form is such a clever mechanic. It's such a blast to hit one or two enemies, then run away as a bird to get to a better position. And the second enemy type really makes this mechanic shine even brighter. Really good! My only problem is the music that I find a bit too repetitive.

I absolutely love games that allow you to use different forms tactically. A great game with great art!

this is great! the tradeoff mechanic between flying / taking more damage is cool and the presentation is good. i wanted to be able to attack up and down, but it makes you play differently so in that way that’s cool too. i wanted more levels! i could imagine a good endless version of this if you randomly generated the levels.

This game is really cool!

I love how you made it necessary to use the bird form to recharge your stamina.
But in turn became more vulnerable to enemies. It made everything feel well balanced.

I only wish you could attack up and down. There were a few moments where I only died because the enemy was right below me and that felt a little unfair.

Great concept. I like the art and style as well. You have to switch and do it quite often and the enemies are fast to reach you so you can only do hit like once or so then swap out not to get hit. I like that dying doesnt restart your whole progress. With more time to expand I think this game would do well.

I love this concept! Once I got the hang of the combat (Don't use one hand use both) it felt awesome. I do wish the music was mutable because it got a bit repetitive. I also would love it if you added combat in up, and down directions. Over all great game!

Was looking fwd to test it as I saw the game on discord. It looks nice, pretty effective and I love the concept, very original and well done, congrats! :)

I must add the transform + boost of speed is really enjoyable and feels great.

Only thing I could say is that I wanted to choose the attack orientation up & down

I really loved this game! :D

Love the game, satisfying to play.  One thing that it felt like it was missing is a attack up or down.

Very cool concept. I had this in my mind previously, but I kinda became lazy doing it. This is such a unique game. I love the visual and simplicity. It is a hard game to play; it is very mechanical. I love it!

Really fun game!!! I really enjoyed the mechanics of the game, they were fun and unique. I really enjoyed every level and was sad when I reached the end so fast :( If you feel like it, I think you should really continue to develop this game! More levels, more enemies, and maybe a new mechanic would make this a game I would use a few bucks on. One thing I felt was missing from the game was the ability to attack upwards and downwards, since there were often enemies below or above me in later levels, and yet I had to reposition myself to attack them.

Incredibly well done!
