We were 3 (4 with the tester) Devs: @lunikkun, @orls_15. Artist: @fabry444 and the tester: @Simone_lucia.81

Software used
Unity

Use of the limitation
There's a second character who mime the player's movement but they have to reach their goals to proceed. We even made it a rage game because "my rage is my enemy " (I cannot concentrate)

Cookies eaten
A lot, lunikkun gained 1kg, Simone became a monke by searching bugs, Fabry became Christian and Orls is proved because of the stress.

Nice game! Was a little confusing when the players change position but when a get used to, was really fun to play, really hard but in a good way made me try more and more haha

Fun game, albeit a bit confusing at times, but overall very good job!

really fun game and there are to many Areas to Explore really enjoyable :D

It's very fun and the slimes are really cute! :) Love the concept and the level design is also quite good :)

I agree with everyone else that the levels should restart individually not the whole game, but it's still a good use of the limitation and would make for a very fun rage game.

Loved the graphics and music! Just needed a little bit of adjustments on the gameplay & difficulty, since a lot of people (myself included) can't reach as far as level 2.

A bit punitive to make you back at the start but still enoyable. I feel it's a game where you want to retry over & over again to get the movement sequence right. A button for resseting the current level would have been nice.

Game is infuriating 😭 It's a rage game through and through, so you all succeeded on that front! I really wish that there was the opportunity to start from the last level you cleared.

There are a lot of clashing art assets which detract from the experience. Some of the spikes look like background objects and/or are very small, which causes some cheap deaths. The main slime spirte looks good, but I'm not a fan of the filtering on it.

Hey, I played your game on the stream

stream timecode - 2:17

the idea of a level reboot - goooood

Please give my game a try if you have some time!

You did an amazing job with the limitation here. The game is really fun and I could really imagine it as a mobile game. The only thing I could point out (as some other comments already did) is that if you fail a level, you must restart from the beginning.

Cool concept! I do wish I could restart levels instead of the whole game though X_X

It is fun and I loved the soundtrack, but I my only problem is that if you fail a level, you have to restart the game from the first level instead of the level you're in, I don't know if it is an intended feature or not. Still great concept and good job.

Your first Jam. You picked Slimey. My first Jam (back then). I picked a Slimey. This Jams topic: Colors.  My first games name: Colored.

Can this be coincidence? I don't think so. What does it mean? I don't know. I am confused... So many questions, so little answers. ;-)

Omg are you serious? what was your limitation? maybe if you still have your game i'd like to play it!

In game development the intention is to give the player a challenge while also letting them have fun. You certainly gave a challenge. I only made it to level four sadly. However I do believe difficulty was your intention. It was an... infuriating experience. 7/10. I believe the limitation is very present here.

Very cool idea! The controls were pretty tough for me and it felt pretty wack to play, But the concept and art is really cute & i enjoyed sliming my way through some levels, Polish up the controls a bit &  i think youll have a super nice game! x3

Couldn't get past level 1 (brain's fried) but the art and everything looks cool!

Thanks for rating our game!

I liked this one. It was difficult and kind of a brain teaster.

This is a really tricky game! It takes a lot of my brain power to try to keep both slimes' movements in my head, which makes for interesting gameplay.

I will say that kicking the player out to the main menu seems a bit harsh; it sort of messes with the cycle of trying different techniques and dying hundreds of times doing it (ala Super Meat Boy). Perhaps this is not what you intended though!

(Though if the game is played with the keyboard, make the menu navigable by the same! Otherwise the player has to reach for the mouse every time to restart, and I think reducing the effort it takes to play again to as little as possible is crucial if a game is this hard!)

Anyway, nicely done!
