Wow! really cool, as you can see from my profile picture, i am a person with special needs, but your game was playable for me and i loved it! Thank you! :) fasfdasfgdsfsdfsdfdf gfdghdfgsafgf
Nice.
Congrats on your first game! Good start, great atmosphere and visuals, and fitting music.
You definitely got it right by creating the player mechanics before building the level; it's best to dial in player movement and actions, then carefully build the world around the limitations of those mechanics. I'm not sure how intentional this was, but double-jumping rapidly launches you really high, which would be a neat feature to use in your level design (i.e. having timing affect the characteristics of the jump). Keep building and experimenting with this; looking forward to playing what you create!
Also thanks for hanging out in chat during the jam!
Fun game. Nice balance between light and shadow! Cool concept and gameplay.
Awesome game. Obsessed with the color scheme. Would love to see more levels.
Amazing game! love how fast you have to tap space to get the height you need. Makes it feel exciting for every jump. Definitely a great game for a 48 hr period!
very lovely game, great quality of graphics and the mechanics work very well.
The music and artwork is really good, but you should mention that you can double jump and that you need to jump to the right to finish, i was trying to do something with the crystal thing, because i thought i will just die on the right xD
Interesting premise and mechanic, lots of potential here :)
A for effort for the first game. Congrats on completing your first game!
Cool atmosphere and the controls feel nice! Keep it up!
Or too short, or idk what the hell to do. Everything is unclear, and i like the way you implemented the theme, but it just feels unfare more than fun.
doesnt run for me
Remember to go fullscreen and/or try another browse
Hi Jill! As Peaceteddie said, please remember to click the fullscreen button, as I haven't mastered how to size for WEBGL just yet. Also, watching Lana play my game last night, she was also having issues. I believe there might be a bug with the way I chose to do the movement mechanics that doesn't work on all PCs. It's a work in progress! Sorry you're having issues.
The atmosphere is well made, I like the character made of light, It's a bit hard to play tho(or it's just me that I don't understand how to). I cannot reach the 4th platform and when you die is really annoying that the game bring you to a static screen and you have to press restart instead just respawn in the same place. Keep working! ;)
At first the look surprised me positively, but the game is either ridiculously short or I just don't know where to jump to. Also I'm not really sure how fun the limited vision is or will be if you keep working on this, because at least for me I've always hated the different cave levels and such where you can't see in other games. Still good job for a first game! (I also made my first game for this jam, please try it)
What you had looks cool, but the abrupt ending need polish. Also maybe I missed something, but the level seemed incredible small and unfinished.
Hi there! Thanks for your feedback! Nope, you didn't miss anything. It is currently intended to be short. I will elaborate and polish once voting is over. :)
Nice work on the look and feel of what you had!
Great work Scrubette! Love the amosphere :). Lana needs a new keyboard or something :>.
Awesome job! I love the concept of a platformer with limited vision. It's a cool take on the theme.
Very fun game excellent music and nice idea of being a particles of light.
Only sad that its short. You could always try to extend it by adding more game levels after the jam. :) Great way to treat lighting in game. :)
Congrats on your first ever game! It was very brave of you to tackle a jam right out of the gate. Wow.
Excellent atmosphere, too!
Triple jumps, pretty visuals, lovely music and atmospheric ambient sounds! Just needs to have a few proper levels and deep lore on why a sentient light needs to collect spheres in a damp cave.
