I like how the controls are deceptively simple. Easy to pickup but difficult to master

I could never have imagine this game, so hats off to you for that. The only suggestion I could make is it might be interesting if the player had more control over the flop. Perhaps rather than a binary flop right or left, there could be a flop axis controlled by the mouse or analog stick? Perhaps 3 dimensions of flopping? I'm not sure... Though the game certainly gave me a good laugh.
Analog controls could be interesting. Didn't have time to try them. There is some control, though. The angular force is applied while the key is pressed, so you can have a weaker flop if you tap the key quickly. In order to allow the fish to flip high enough to get over things, though, I had to make the velocity pretty high, so the window is REALLY small.
I can't get up the damn ramp. How the hell do I go forward? How did I get this far? Questions that may never be afforded to such a disposable fish. I delighted in the ASMR-like quality of the wet flopping and had fun flinging myself around randomly hoping to go forward. This is the most relaxing Foddian game here, and for that I think it deserves high ranks.
I think this game has a lot of potential because the movement actually felt super good - I just wish there was some sort of tutorial to help showcase the controls.
Pretty cool submission! Well done C:
If you flap in the direction you're facing (ex: right when you're facing right), it'll create some forward thrust while being less likely to flip you over. Gotta find the right cadence. Of course you can also tail flip off of objects you're nearby to sling yourself. Flopping the opposite direction of the direction you're facing (tail into the ground) will launch you into the air.
*Wet slapping sounds* The voiceover is a nice touch and the mechanic is unique tho quite unwieldy to control. Cool game overall!
This game is pretty hard. I figured out some key ways of moving such as curling and uncurling next to a wall to gain lots of momentum. I feel like like I'm fighting the controls sometimes, but this was a good and fun challenge with great visual style.
Really good! One of the few games I finished for the jam without it feeling 'easy'. Here's my time :).
Super impressed you did this in 2 days, hats off to you for that.
not sure mapping brownian motion to buttons counts as 'difficult physics game'... Jokes aside this was super interesting and - I feel - very realistic. It really made me feel like a dying fish on a boat.
The idea of the game is pretty good, but the implementation requires improvements.
