Very well made, super fun wasting countless hours on this game while i have classes to study for. The gameplay is jump king tier frustration. Cheers to the dev team and hopefully many more great games to come!

Super cool mechanics! The swing felt pretty juicy. Really nice job on this entry c:
Really fun movement and swinging mechanics. Very interested to see this game develop even further. For 10 days this is crazy. For my critiques, we talked about pacing and giving the player a couple free jumps in order to learn the ropes and catch their attention by making them feel accomplished. Also we talked about a couple movement options and tweaks that would maybe make the game easier but would allow you to get more creative and make the later half of the game have more challenging jumps. ex. airdashing in multiple directions, double grapple, etc. The game nails the Foddian theme giving you anxiety the farther up you go and makes you Sadge when you fall. For how slow you make progress when you're figuring out the jumps the falls are very brutal and maybe an airdash cooldown for a recovery option sounds like a good addition to help the player out. Well done lads!
on of the things about getting over it, is how easy it is to progress early on. Then it gets exponentially more difficult with seemingly simple controls. I think that is what is missing in this game, that ease of getting to a place where it becomes a mountain you have to scale with the repercussion of a small mistake sending you starting over with successive mountains that continue to have the result of sending you tumbling back to the beginning. Would love to see more of this, refined controls and a slower build to the difficulty spike.
Thanks for the thoughtful response! We agreed that we want to continue to polish and improve this game. What specifically do you want to see changed about the controls? We would like to flesh out a better tutorial area in a future build to help players understand the options available to them. This game has a very low skill floor and a galaxy skill ceiling.
