Great work! Visuals were really cool, simple concept, good sound and nicely polished. Too hard for me though! Still gets a big thumbs up :)

awesome destructible environment, awesome visual fxs ( for me ), a triumph for a game made in 48h ! engine is neat

WOW What a tough game , only managed to get 2 crystal , this is really frustrating that you loose energy when hitting a wall , no matter how slow you were , you shouldn't take that much energy if the person hit the wall at 1 pixel per minute. But the game is really cool , graphism are really nice , kind of remind me the Asteroid's clone on the Vectrex ,  the atmosphere is awesome , I like that there is a scenario , sound are great , and concept is great too.

I agree that it is too difficult. Decreasing both the gravity and energy reduction when hitting a wall would be nice changes.

The gravity makes it really difficult for me to turn down and shoot, after 10+ mins of play I could only see one green gem :/

Nice vector graphics! I love it!

But it's too hard for me...

Managing energy feels very challenging. Nice art style and mechanics. Maybe the gravity is a bit too strong.

The basic gameplay is really interesting and the artstyle works really well, but I think one glaring flaw for me was gravity. That might sound a bit weird but I think that removing gravity (or at least reducing it) would give you much more control so you can focus on the main gameplay, especially with such a harsh penalty for hitting the walls (though I would keep this). Also, the font was a bit blurry - might just be me but it made it quite hard to read.

Did you have to make it so ballbustingly impossible. It was fun though, once I got the hang of the controls and weren't ramming into the walls every five seconds.

I saw what you did with lowering the energy crystal spawn rate when you get deeper. That was evil, but really increased the tension a lot. I managed to get 3 crystals, and almost got the fourth.

Aww man! I was doing so well, I got 4/5 crystals and then I got this error:

Error

main.lua:293: attempt to compare nil with number

Traceback

main.lua:293: in function 'draw'
[C]: in function 'xpcall'

I was having a really good time with the game too, btw. I can imagine it was a lot of work trying to get the world generation going, and the ai too! Very nice game overall, error not withstanding.

Sorry about that. Games jams and bugs go hand in hand sometimes. I fixed the bug and updated the exe on the download page. Thanks for the comment!
