- Hey! It was a pleasure to watch this game be constructed over the weekend. Seeing two streams was awesome. The game is very well polished. I love the camera, lighting and pixel art animations. The enemy AI works very well and was very immersive. I also loved the encumbrance of slowing down when holding too many items, and the way that affected the gameplay. Good design, overall. Super fun to play and aesthetically pleasing. I will say I thought the tutorial was a little bit "heavy", and some of those explanations could have been removed (e.g. instead of down arrow to hide, just show "E" and let the player figure it out). I also would have appreciated a bit more integration of the theme / story in the gameplay. Maybe in the ending? For one weekend, a very commendable entry. Thanks for making it, I had fun!

Very good game! Aesthetics feel very polished and the gameplay is fun. I wish there was some sort indicator of your progress throughout the game. I also accidentally closed the game with esc, when I was just trying to pause it. I hope we see more of this.
Great game finding stuff and getting safe from thise green monsters was kinda easy if we go in a barrel overall the game was very nice and that was a huge amount of pixel art within the jam time it was awesome.
The game looks really impressive, it's really detailed! I was a bit overwhelmed by the tutorial, so much info all at once when I just wanted to play :P it's somewhat debatable whether it's just one room, but the mechanics are fun!

This game was definitely well put together, but I did run into a few small issues. I ran out of time having collected 3 items, and when I restarted I won as soon as I collected 1. Also it is very easy to skip over the text at the beginning, though it didn't hurt me too much. Definitely some great art and lighting though.
I hope you still enjoyed playing our game, sorry for the issue it looks like we are missed to test some scenario case (run out of time probably) haha

What happened to WebGL.
Doesn't like dynamic lightning :c
I'm kind of terrible at stealth but I had a good time with this. You might be a little too much faster than the orcs when not carrying anything, but I liked using the sewer grates to get around while weighed down. Not sure about how well it fits the theme since it's more like "one floor" of a castle, with hallways between different spaces. But it's high marks everywhere else for sure.
The game still goes accordingly to the definition of "Room". Although many people think that a room is small, it's just defined by the fact there is wall, floor and ceiling.
Anyway, thanks for playing it and I'm glad you had a good time playing it. The fact you go faster than orc is unfortunatly due to a bug .__.

Were you playing on the Desktop version ? The WebGL is really laggy because of light processing.

An immediate 5*, great art, great presentation, solid mechanics (sound effects for hiding are really fun) and orcs putting your items back is a really lifelike behaviour I didn't expect.

Ahah, nice too hear someone went on this situation. They do indeed take items and put them back, even if you stop them from taking it.
This game is incredibly well put together! Every asset is of really high quality, and the lighting helps sell the mood in such a convincing way. The mechanic of hiding and traversing using vents is simple to understand and execute.
Though I felt the stealth was fun, I found that as a dominant strategy it was much easier to simply run through getting seen by every Orc, only to hide or use the smoke bomb once an armor piece was in sight.
I found it humorous that the Orcs couldn't find me even if I hid right in front of them, but either making them check cover or having some additional hazards that could slow your movement for a time might mitigate this and prevent wanton sprinting.
Regardless, excellent work!

I agree, and the sound make it so comical.
That a mistake on my part, near the end of the development, a bug appeared, making the orc way slower when they got you in sight. I unfortunately didn't had the time to fix it :(

Wow this game is great! The art is great, I'm amazed you guys finished full animations for the characters! I also love the use of Unity's 2D lighting. The game is really laggy on Chrome browser for some reason though. The stealth mechanics are awesome. I'm honestly amazed you were able to make this much content over the weekend!

Some of the text is explaining the lore, while other are explaining the mechanics since there is a lot of information. Better have more information that being lost on your first game, but I do agree that there is a lot of text.
