Nice gameplay, fantastic art, and the music is neat! Great job. I really liked the animations you've put as well

Very Nice ! with a great use of the theme
Good Job

Submitted(+1)

Really good. From first looks, I thought this was a really simple game just threw together by a beginner, but as soon as the glitchiness started happening and mechanics started changing it got really fun! Probably my favourite one I've played so far, good job!

Only thing I would recommend is adding some more sound effects apart from the background music and glitch effect.

Developer

Thanks! Yeah a lot of people mentioned that sound effects should be added to the game as well. I really liked time dash as well!

Submitted(+1)

Good use of the theme for a interesting puzzle-platform game!

Great work!

Developer

Thank you! Geo Slash also has an amazing use of the theme!

Submitted(+1)

Really good game. I like it a lot. I think the music could be better, and it needs sound effects for jump or collisions, could be improve the feedback. But now, at the actual state, is an excellent game. Good job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Sound effects will be added at some point in the future, and I’m currently learning music so I hope I can make it better. I liked shoot the multiple a lot too!

Submitted(+1)

Oh great! and thank you.

Submitted(+1)

Super cool concept! I couldn't get past the first level lmao.

I'd love to see this mechanic in a more fast-paced game, three ffull seconds before you gget to check your answer is pretty frustrating and also having time pressure on figuring out a puzzle solution isn't the kind of stress I'm super into in a game

Visuals and audio are really great!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Sorry I tried my absolute best with this one, but with the limited time I don’t doubt that there are some places where you have to wait a long time and it gets stressful. Thank you very much for your feedback! Chalkdust is also a really cool platformer game!

Submitted(+1)

Ayy thank you! Saw your comment that's real kind!

Yeah I mean flipping gravity on a timer is a god damn excellent puzzle game mechanic, I'd personally just like to see a way shorter timer and for gravity to be switchable mid-air, as in if the player times their jump so gravity switches in mid air, they get the expected outcome

Developer

Gravity is actually switchable mid-air, it’s just very precise. I also agree the timer should be shorter in some levels. I’ll take these points into consideration when I’m remaking the game. Thank you!

I think this is one of the games that uses this game jam's theme the best, the music is great, the timed swap mechanic is great and it wasn't too hard but it made me think for some stages, and the tutorial stages help set up the story, something I haven't seen before in this game jam, Very nice job here! Definitely one of my favorite submissions in this jam yet.

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! Geometrick was also really good :D

This game looks absolutely incredible - and sounds absolutelyyyyy incredible. I just love it! The puzzles were cleverly designed and the mechanics were great - such a great entry!

Developer

Thank you so much! Your game is absolutely incredible as well!

Submitted(+1)

Where do you get such a cool idea and implementation? Awesome!

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Thanks haha! I just made the idea up myself on the 2nd day of the jam while playing another game! You’re shape recognition game is also really well done :)

Submitted(+1)

This is such a cool game! The mechanics were very interesting and puzzles good! The gameplay was fun and the art was good and consistent. Really enjoyed this one!

Developer

Thank you so much! I liked your game starship scramble a lot too!

Submitted(+1)

This is definitely one of my favorites of the jam! The puzzles were very unique and there were multiple different mechanics to keep things fresh. I loved the small story behind it, the music/sound effects were great, the art was good, and the gameplay felt really responsive. Two words, well done!

Developer(+1)

Hey! Thank you very much, I’ve tried my best shot at it. I also love your seconds away from death game too!

Submitted(+1)

Really cool game with some creative mechanics and the glitchy effects and transitions were really cool! I enjoyed this one a lot! :D

Developer

Thanks haha! I enjoyed showtime a lot too!

Submitted(+1)

Fun game, I will say the flip controlls puzzles weren't as difficult and the block swappers turned into just waiting for 3 seconds for things to flip back. But everythign else was great.

Shoutout to Leb for doing all the hard work kek.

Developer(+1)

Yeah.. a handful of people have said that the control-flip mechanic wasn’t a really good one. Rootin’ Tootin’ n Shootin’ is also a fire game!

Submitted(+1)

Fun game, control inversion made the game more challenging, enjoyed it a lot, great job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I enjoyed playing your top down shooter as well!

Submitted(+1)

I loved the little twist before the beginning of the game and the intro to the game itself. Felt like a little narrative. The game itself felt quite polished. Well done!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I also love your platformer-puzzle game as well!

Submitted(+1)

Great game! It took me a while to figure out how it worked, but otherwise, everything was awesome, not the mention I LOVED the little glitch effects, it was so nice. Great work :)

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I liked your shooter as well!

Submitted(+1)

Amazing work!  This is really impressive for the limited time we had, its cohesive, charming, adheres to the theme in a fun and creative way, and is surprisingly polished.  The moment at the beginning when the screen/music are glitching out and you suddenly fall through the floor was awesome.  I live for the moments in indie games where what you expect to happen is subverted.

I agree that probably the least inspired design choice was the controls-inversion.  That could have been good for a single level, but ultimately its less of a "puzzle" and more of an inconvenience.  Still, I think this game has high chances to be in the top selection for the execution of all categories.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! The control-inversion was a last-minute addition, so I don’t doubt that it was more of an inconvenience than a good mechanic. I wanted to make a better segue to the “glitch world”, but with the limited time I just slapped in a glitch. I also love your top down shooter!

Submitted(+1)

Wow, this is great! Super polished and generally well executed. I like that you experimented with a variety of mechanics and then played them off one another.

I think there's a tension between the more puzzle-y side of the game and the dexterity platforming side which you did a good job balancing. The one mechanic that maybe leaned too far in the dexterity direction is the controls reversal. That mechanic felt more annoying than interesting to me. But maybe that's just because I have no dexterity, but like puzzles :)

Ignoring that one nitpick, your game was really fun! Great job overall!

Developer

Yeah haha the control reversal mechanic was added last minute as “just another mechanic”. I’ll try making more interesting mechanics soon. I also love your hexagon-based machine game as well!

Submitted(+1)

Awesome art, great gameplay puzzles, controller feels good.

The visual effects and music are great too all making the whole experience and story telling come together in a great way well done.

Developer

Thank you! I love your little game as well! The balancing is really well done.
