An amazing experience filled with history and solid narrative, I have to admit is a very cool VN and the historical accuracy meter was such a cool idea, kudos to the creator!
An entertaining tale, well told.
I would have liked more choices but that is the nature of this genre.
Some of the comical choices were excellent and the characters were nicely fleshed out, considering you only had their words to do it.
Loved how well this was written and easily played through. I've always wanted to play a RenPy game - super!
Wow, congratulations for making such an amazing game!
It was a nice choice to use free assets and focus more on the narrative and the choice of gameplay. Very interesting story and the historical accuracy crowns were such a nice idea! You did an impressive job, the dialogues are perfect!
Oh wow... I'm not even sure where to begin. Out of context, I'd never guess this was a jam-game. The writing made here is just fabulous, such perfectly crafted dialogues and story. I am amazed by everything in this game and I can't find anything I would like to see a fix or update to, and that's sort of rare because I try very hard to give a mixed review but I just can't think of anything. I managed to complete it with almost full historical accuracy - and if it wasn't because of the fact I want to get through as many of the submissions as possible I would've just made another attempt at once. I will probably get back to it as soon as I feel I've played most of the submissions! The ability to scroll back to earlier areas was such a nice addition that was really nice to play with, but unfortunately I couldn't scroll back indefinitely, so I don't know where I failed those last accuracy-points.
But just, wow.
Helt fantastiskt!
This was such an interesting entry! Wish I had more time to finish the story, but I really enjoyed what I played. Here's the VOD: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1259192520
Way too much content for me to get through it all, but my play session was overall enjoyable.
I like the idea of a historical accuracy mechanic, and it makes me wonder if it might somehow become a thing in education if it is not already.
The gameplay is smooth and I really love the music! The historical accuracy system is an interesting idea. The visuals are great except for the brown text on the black background which is a bit hard to read.
I am not used to read so much text so it is a bit tough for me to finish the game, but from what I see, the dialogues are carefully written, the visuals, controls, save & load are all greatly done. And most importantly it fits the theme perfectly. Good job!
This is a great game, the music feels a little off somehow but not enough to make me not enjoy the game. Really enjoyed it. The historical accuracy aspect was executed really well and in a unique way that was enjoyable to play.
Something I rarely see a historical game story with a well though out historical outcome. Really smooth and elegant gameplay. The graphics are almost but not dead perfectly synchronized (the characters, background, and UI) kind of feels off a little bit but never the less pleasant. Audio is very well chosen for such a gameplay style. The game theme and historical accuracy are great.
Only issue is that (and this is related to how these type of game are designed) is the amount of time that the Player needs to invest into this game to see the end.
Overall, really well thought out, planned, designed, and executed to producing the final product. Well done.
Thank you very much, really appreciate your kind words and feedback. :)
Yes, I could definitely have been clearer about the game's length and maybe also put more attention on the fact that you can save/load your progress, so you won't have to do it all in one go. :)
Happy that you enjoyed playing my game! :)
Wow this is so great. This type of game I usually find boring but I was fully into it and trying to figure out the historical accuracy meter. I like that the game ends and that you don't get the rest of the story unless you max out the accuracy. Very original and well done and I think I learned a lot too!
Haven't finished the game but hands down, this is definitely the best game that came out out of this jam! I'm astounded by the quality of the writing and narration.
Well done and thank you for making this game!
This is a very well designed game and I love the graphics. The dialogues are so rich too.
As it's a little long, I must admit I didn't played till the end, but I will do it in the next days
But I can say that I really like that kind of games, with choices and stories.
you made an incredible amount of work !
Your graphic choices are great !
Really I'm impressed !
