Simple but really entretaining. My only complaint is that the UI blocks the game view.

This is one of the most enjoyable games I played in this Jam, the puzzles are hard enough to keep you busy but not to hard that they make you want to quit, the gameplay is satisfying when you get every win, The graphics could be a bit better, but the game in itself is great, and the historical aspect is actually very intriguing, specially how it is implemented into the game.

A really good puzzle game - I couldn't stop playing until I had completed all the levels.

It would be nice to able to cycle through the tiles to see what they were, rather than having to memorize them from a previous try and it's a little bit annoying having parts of the map hidden behind all the info windows.

But it's still a really great game.

Great puzzles! Enjoyed thoroughly. Well done!

the puzzles were really great and difficult, the way you score in this game is a bit confusing in the start, the music is good, and the art style is very simple and good.

i really enjoyed the game!!

I believe I stumbled upon a favourite! A gorgeous little game, I was instantly hooked, but no matter how much I tried I could not beat level 3. :< The artstyle is perfect and the puzzle is great - at first I wished for some sort of indication of where tiles would be best placed to get as much of their values as possible, but after a few tries I believe I had a good grasp of what should be where and it wasn't much of an issue. :)

I think that what got me in the end was the inability to do some sort of planning before putting out the tiles. I only agree somewhat to the other comments about being able to take back a tile - perhaps that would make the game too easy, but it would still not be less of a puzzle and alltough more easy it could fit a relaxing game such as this. What I would've like to see instead would be a small representation of the tile layout, perhaps on their icons, because at the moment I had to remember every layout and that became very hard as levels increased. Like, it would be nice to have an overview to see if this particular block had a square-shape, an L-shape or similar. I think that would add a lot.

But other than that, this was a really beautiful idea, very well done!

Thanks for the comment! Yes, we do need more indicators and instructions. For the tile layout you mentioned, this is a very good suggestion and it is not very hard to implement. We didn't leave much time for testing and polishing, we will do better next time.

Like the hand-drawn paper-like aesthetics of the puzzle pieces.

Very nice puzzle game with growing complexity.

Very cool mechanics, I enjoyed it, even though it took me a little while to get into. However, the game pauses for me whenever I try clicking the upper right tile, so I can't place that one. Is that just me?

Well done on your game, overall. :)

Thanks for playing! I think it has to do with how itch.io handles button clicks on web versions. Scrolling the page a little to avoid the buttons on the top right should allow clicking without pausing. Probably should've probably made the game window a little bit smaller.

Love this game ! But at first, I thought you have to place buildings on the grass.

Sounds and music are really great, visuals are pretty.

Puzzles are cool but I thought the "Back" button was to cancel our last action (it may be great to add this feature).

I didn't get how the scores work.

Good job !

I really love this game! Just wish there was a way to pick blocks up and move them after placing! Would have been nice to be able to see exactly how the scores were calculated too, as it felt like a lot of trial and error at times

One of the most unique game from the entries! I wish there's a full-screen option for the game but still, loves the puzzle gameplay, information about the history and the simple yet effective graphics!
