Ah ok, thanks for coming back to me on that. That's really helpful and I really appreciate you making the effort to help me out with this :)

I think that might be linked to how the browser handles the game, rather than the game itself, as the first ESC/Click don't get passed to the game to be handled as javascript inputs. They are consumed by the browser to focus/unfocus the iframe containing the HTML/Javascript version of the game. At least that's my understanding of how it is working, happy to be corrected if I'm wrong there though!

I can see from the other comments that you're still pretty new to game development, so great job on being able to enter a game jam and create something playable in just 3 days. That's an achievement by itself, so congratulations!

Unfortunately, as others have said, this doesn't really feel like it fits the theme and doesn't seem speed-runnable which is a shame. But regardless, you should still give yourself a pat on the back for finishing anything during a 3 day jam. A lot of people don't manage that at all. Keep it up and you'll only get better :)

This is a really fun platformer, I enjoyed the way that you used the theme with the slingshots and the connection points. This is a great idea that was executed well. The only issue I had was that the camera was a little too shaky, and could have maybe used a little more stabilisation. But other than that I really enjoyed this gameplay-wise :)

This a really cool game mechanic really well executed! I especially liked the dots that you used to signalling the direction to astronauts, as that helped both with navigating the map and lining up slingshots. The asteroid explosions were a great addition too, as using them both increased the challenge and the speed which is a great balance for speed running in my opinion. Overall this is a really well made game that executes a simple, but fun, concept really well. Nice job! :)

This is a really cool concept, reminds me a lot of of agar.io which is definitely a good thing! It would be nice to have some level of visual indicator for if I can eat another cell though, as I was very unclear on when I could/couldn't attack other cells.

Hm that's surprising, that's one of the browsers I have tested against and it seems to work ok for me. (I know "It works on my machine" is the lamest developer catchphrase haha).

If you wouldn't mind, could you answer the below questions so I can have a proper dig? I haven't done many 3D Godot Web Exports so trying to pin down any bugs I find.

What OS are you using?
What Safe Browsing Level is configured?
Were any Permissions pop-ups (or any other informational messages) shown by the Browser?
Have you had any issues with any other in-browser games?

No worries if you don't want to answer all/any of these, I appreciate I'm asking for a favour and you're under no obligation to help troubleshoot a random browser game you tried to play haha. Appreciate you giving the game a go either way, thanks :)

This is such a cute game, the art and music create a really lovely relaxing atmosphere. Unfortunately I found that pressing space when the arrow was red was really inconsistent at triggering me to move, which meant I was struggling to complete the game :(

Hm that's odd, I've seen quite a few people play on web and have tested myself on a few different browsers. Just so I can troubleshoot this for future jams, could you let me know what OS/Browser you are using? I assume you don't have issues with any other in-browser games?

Thanks for the feedback, I'm glad you enjoyed it :

This was a really fun game, I especially enjoyed the interactions between the black holes and the purple orbits!

Haha don't apologise for that, I never even managed to get my leaderboard working online! Oooh second, I'm happy with that haha

I'm really glad you enjoyed it! What time did you get? Unfortunately I ran out of time to link an online leaderboard so it's only stored locally :( Yeah, the last part is definitely the least complete, getting lost in space is far too easy! Thanks for playing :)

This is a cool concept, and I like the idea of being invincible and beating enemies as fast as possible. The movement mechanics on the gun were also really unique and fun. I did have a bit of trouble working out if I was doing damage, and how much health enemies had though

This was really well done, simple but effective! I got so into trying to set a best time on this that my cup of tea went cold! Awesome game :)

This was really fun, it fit the orbit theme really well and definitely leant itself to speedrunning! I really enjoyed trying to set a best time! Unfortunately the leaderboard wouldn't load for me, so I don't know how well I compared, but I managed to get 01:38. I had a lot of fun playing this :)

This was a really fun idea that captured the theme brilliantly!

This is a fun concept, although the time to transition between each level felt a little long when trying to get a best time. The controls felt smooth and the orbit theme was really well implemented. Nice game!

The download version is a much better gameplay experience, I'd recommend trying that if you wanted to give it a go :

Ah I'm sorry it's not working for you! It's definitely on the upper limits of what works in a browser based game. So far it's been tested on Edge and Chrome and works, but imagine the web version might not work for everyone. Thanks for trying it though, I'll be sure to check out your game :

This gets a special mention for completing a max_throw_length only playthrough!

This was so much fun and such a creative idea. Really brilliant game!

Really fun concept, was cool how the two characters worked together. The style of the game was very cool

I really enjoyed the cute art style and music, the game was also a lot of fun to play

Thanks so much for comment! Is there anything that you think could be tweaked to make the movement a bit smoother

The art and music for this game are brilliant, and I loved the personality of the ghost character. Really great concept for a core mechanic too

Really fun game, I loved how the music was such a big part of the game and the art is brilliant

Yeah, it took a lot longer than I'd planned for sure, even keeping to a fairly simple style haha

Thanks for the lovely comment :)

Always the way with jams, I totally ran out of time for what I wanted to do too! Still a great job :

Really great idea for a core mechanic that fits the theme super well. Really unique and a lot of fun to play.

Great concept, the idea of designing sections and then copying them at a discount is a great core mechanic for a factory game

I really enjoyed this game, simple to understand but had me making a lot of decisions about where to point the light and how to use it. Really great execution of a very unique mechanic

In the first few seconds I thought I was going to hate this game, by the end I was so sad I'd finished. Absolutely amazing atmosphere and the storytelling is outstanding. I thoroughly enjoyed this game

Very cool game, the core mechanic of getting oil was so well executed with how the hose behaved. Really enjoyed playing, and loved the art style

Really enjoyed this game, the art style is clean and looks really good. It's the best executed ship growing game I've played so far. It does suffer with the same reverse difficulty curve as all the other similar games where the first little bit is really hard, and then you quickly become invincible. However becoming super powerful felt really fun in this game as all the weapons were unique and had so much character. I played through until my computer couldn't take the amount of stuff on the screen anymore!

Really nice game, had a fun arcade feel to it where I kept needing one more try.

Nice game, I got a bit stuck in the anthill a few times but made it across to the battery in the end! That platforming was soooo difficult I felt very pleased with myself when I got the battery. And I thought some of the platforming in my game was tricky haha. Enjoyed it for sure, brilliant concept

This game is awesome! The art is so charming and the animations are brilliant. I loved playing it

Awesome game, perfect level of challenging and fun to play

Really fun game. I love how you have to me strategic about the way you fly into pickups to make sure they're attached in a useful way. Being able to pause to see what things do is also a really nice touch.
