How does your game tie into the theme?
There is a random chance of getting a "curse" when picking up an item of treasure. Each curse changes the dynamics of the game.

I played your game on my stream, but I was confused about the controls for attacking. Even when I pressed the attack button, it seemed like enemies didn't take damage :(

Thanks for playing it on stream! Honestly, seeing you stuggle with it is probably some of the best feedback I've gotten!

I think the controls I wrote were a bit amigious, as you're meant to press the direction towards the square an enemy is in. The 'Z' or space button just skips your turn.

The combat feedback is definately something I wanted to improve, but I just ran out of time. I only added in a little "jab" animation in the last hour or two before the deadline.

Hopefully if you stream any future jams you'll have more enjoyment with my games!

Cool game, I like the simple combat and how you can play with one hand using just WASD. I think if you made it so you don’t have to spam the WASD keys to move long distances that would be great, my hand started hurting after a while. Also having a volume slider would be great, the music was very loud when starting. This is a cool game with great potential!

Well, from what I've played, it's a neat game to pass the time. Had fun playing with it, with a nice theme and being on egypt.

Good job

Nice game!  I like that the curses can apply to the enemies as well so it gives you a reason to pick them up (other than just making your score go up).  Game over music being a version of the normal music is a neat touch.

I like those old-school dungeon crawlers ^^ A little more feedback when attacking would be nice

Yesss, more roguelikes! I love those. Your implementation of fog of war is super good! The exploration was fun and the enemy behaviors made me question every movement more than once! Awesome entry!

As a ToME fan, I loved this one. I like the way you implemented darkness over the map and the curses were interesting. I did find that I could cheese the increased damage curse  by passing my turn, haha. Nice work on the proc gen!

For some reason the audio was not working for me, I tried playing on the latest version of Firefox, then Chrome.

I liked it - very interesting little concept. I think probably the music is a touch too loud, although hard to say. I'd probably turn it down by going into your Audio tab at the bottom and just turning down the master bus maybe 10 db. Other than that, it wasn't clear (to me) initially how to actually attack - thought I could only avoid enemies - but once I figured out I could, it was pretty fun!

I forgot how much I missed the old rogue-likes.

Captured the retro feel perfectly.  Loved it

Neat little Egyptian dungeon crawl! The music gets a little repetitive after a bit, but the art is a nice little C64/Atari 2600++ style.
