Beautiful colour palette and great integration into the clown theme! The name picking bit was a nice touch!

As others have said the controls seem a little off. Looking forward to the future iteration though!

Thank you for your kind words. Hope you try the new version on the future!

Great design and composition. The music works great with the circus vibes.
Leaving the debug UI on isn't that big of a deal - but not getting the improved movement  into your submission on time (which I guess happened from reading other comments) is a real shame, since movement feels like the most important part of the game.

We are here to learn and we learned a lot during this period, thanks for the feedback.

Nice entry! I like where you're going with it. It was a good level of challenge once I got into things :) Keep up the good work!

Me myself? I'm a Funzy Punzy kinda guy.

Really liked the art design! the dark background on the platform levels goes really well with the lighting! gives a real feeling of depth. I liked the jump mechanic, had really unique movement, would've liked some checkpoints though!

The mood set by the music choice is awesome. And the intro sequence was funny!

Good game!

We're glad you liked this version. Hope you try the upcoming version that we want to release in the future. Thank you for your kind words. #FunzyPunzyTeam

That was neat! The costume creator was sweet and the jumping mechanics felt unique!

Interesting game! Really loved the art and music!

Thanks for playing the game Memao and we're glad you liked it! Keep in touch to play the next version with stats boosters for each costume :)

Love the visuals and great work with using a limited palette, the music was very fitting with the theme of the game.  Apple ftw

Thanks for playing the game YesTea! Keep in touch to play the next version with stats boosters for each costume :)

I liked the graphics and the aesthetics look great with the 4-color palette. Can't wait to see the version with the improved controls since the current ones are quite rough.

Thanks for your feedback TempestDahlia! Costumes with stats boosters in the nearest future :)

PepperJuice all the way !!! I wish if the speed was higher, and keep momentum when landing a jump, it might help with difficulty. Pretty cool approach to the theme and i believe this game can be much bigger. Love the art and humor ! Well done

Thanks so much for your feedback, YasserLikesPython! Next version will come with stats boosters for each costume, the clunky stats are actually the lowest possible stats for players, but we couldn't manage to upload the improved / debugged version in time! I hope you get to play the next improved version!

Agree with most of the below for sure! I think there's a good game buried in here, and wish we could have seen the one you could have uploaded! I don't know if I did something wrong or what, but it also seemed like there was some debug printing code still running in my version of the game and it was sort of distracting (was listing off the state machine states and velocity values).

Hi BackAt50Ft, thanks for your feedback! We uploaded a version while debugging the state machine but we couldn't upload the corrections in time and forgot to disable the debug UI :P noob mistakes from first time jammers... I hope you get to play the next version with improved controllers!

Oh, it was fine, ultimately! I thought I'd hit a debug button or something by accident with my fat fingers. :D Good to know it was there! For a first-time jam, your game was pretty good - genuinely think there's a nugget of an interesting idea here!

I liked how you interpreted assembly required to name and costume picking. This game is pretty difficult, but fun. The movement is a little strange, but it works well enough. But the art! It great! Very fun game.

Thanks for the feedback, KingJalfire. I hope you get to play the next version with improved controllers :)

I look forward to it

Those names haha - could've been cool to code some kind of random clown name generator. I liked the color palette and art :) Regarding the gameplay - it takes awhile to pick up momentum and when you land you kinda sputter out and lose your velocity. Tis the nature of jams, but dont be afraid to really amp up the speed. Increase the jump height and impulse velocity, increase the gravity.. etc. There are some quick tweaks you can make to the character controller that will get it feeling much more satisfying. Saw your response to Kaishido, so I know you're likely aware of this stuff already, just wanted to chime in.

Hi Forager, thanks for the feedback! The next version has acceleration, jump and max speed boosters with different effects for each costume. the "clunky" controllers are actually the lowest possible level for each stats, and each costume improves it a bit. Unfortunately, we submitted a version while debugging player's state machine but we couldn't upload the second version in time :(

Interesting take on clowns! The concept is there and the music fits well with the art direction. The controls are very clunky, though... You probably lacked time. This needs a little bit more work on the coding side but decent entry overall!

Thanks for the feedback! We actually had an improved version of movement but we couldn't upload it on time :(

Fun idea of choosing your own clown and name for assembly. Art is also really nice.
I did try to reduce the volume and didn't seem to have any effect but language options worked and were a nice touch too.

I like it

Yeah I agree the sound was too loud, we've fixed sound configuration on the upcoming version of the game :P
