Great art, music, and voice acting! The script is also very well-written. The platforming mechanic is pretty good but it was not immediately obvious to me that holding the spacebar allows me to jump higher so I was stuck in the beginning part of the game for a minute or two. :P

Unfortunately the window sizing mechanism seemed to break the game for me - the game would freeze up and kick me out - wish there was a downloadable version

Developer

Sorry about this! We fully ran out of time to even create the download version.  >.<

good job! the voice acting was a nice touch. i liked the addition of boss fights too! it was a little hard figuring out where to go. nice job everyone!

That game was really fun and as others said already, the VO and sound was amazing! Graphics were also pretty nice. The only thing that bothered was the weird mini-window size. I would actually leave the game window small and instead add the "fullscreen" button that itch.io offers. That way you can really have a full screen. For me, without the fullscreen option, I was often clicking outside the window, leading me to other sites and kinda ruining the amazing experience. And sometimes I could not really see my own shots, since they have almost the same color as the background.

Apart from those minor problems this was a pretty good piece of work!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! The itch.io fullscreen button should have been there. At least I clicked the box for it.

We were aware of the bullet color issue, but just ran out of time. I was making the start and  end screens with 20 mins left in the jam. :D

Neat action platformer with glados and portal vibes. Nice voice acting and controls feels rather good

Cool presentation! I think the information could be shown in a little clearer way, but at the end of the day, it's a platformer, it's still intuitive! Nice entry!

Reminds me of Robocop and Portal.

Interesting mechanic and ability to choose items.

The voice is something :) And the boss :)

Good job!

Really cool game. You see a lot of effort 5 people have put in here! I liked the different shoot and shield mechanics of the robot and to kill and survive those enemies. The graphics are pretty cool. But this voice over made it even better and unique. It gave some character to it which I liked. I had no control or performance issues as well. Good Job!!!

Developer

Thank you! I think a lot of people missed out on the different guns and shield since we didn't make them clear. Our VO performer will be very happy to hear. :)

Fun and cute! Didn't realize I could use the shield (or change weapons) until the final boss, so the mini bosses almost drove me insane, but that's my bad :) Intriguing lore, makes me want to play a much longer version

Thanks for playing our game! And congratulation on beating the game in a self-imposed hard mode :D
But we should have done a better job communicating what the player can do in-game. Sorry about that.

Great game. Loved the VoiceOver.

Awesome job! I found some of the controls a little difficult at times, but managed to get through it. Good work on getting so much done!
