I really like a plane sim for an entry, quite original. The aesthetic and controls are great too! Really nice

Developer

thanks!

Really pretty game, I thought the environment and lighting was great. Lots of nice details as well with the screen zooming out as you speed up.

At first I was confused as to how a flying game would work with only four buttons but then I saw the twist, thought the way you handled that was very interesting. It does play into the theme nicely, assuming they're harvesting those thermal vents for energy.

Good stuff!

Developer

Thanks! I based this off a controller with 6 keys (extra 2 for pitch up and down) but immediately decided I hated how complicated it was… I really aim for simplicity and to make games my 3yo can play (he did and loved it).

Thank you for taking the time to try it and leave great feedback

Simple idea, but well executed! I liked seeing it as 3D, I normally don't like 3D games too much, but this worked well.

Thanks for trying it out! Great you liked it even if you prefer 2d

What a simple, lean, beautiful game!

The nostalgic and peaceful atmosphere was very soothing!

Thank you for this wonderful game!

Lovely to hear such feedback. Thank you for trying the game!

I'm going to sound like a parrot, but yes, this is so relaxing and peaceful. Love the low poly minimal art style. The controls are nice and the only difficultly I had was "descending" on to the goal. I really like how the (literal) atmosphere changes with each level. Great submission, well done. :)

P.S. Did you ever play Pilotwings on N64? Reminds me so much of that great game.

Developer(+1)

thanks for the feedback!

So I think I did play Pilotwings back in the day - though I never owned a console in my teens. The N64 was my favourite era of gaming in single player mode (xbox 360 for multiplayer). I definitely wanted to channel that simple low poly vibe in the game.

Very peaceful and relaxing! Part of me wanted a difficulty ramp, but the other part of me just enjoyed the relaxing nature of it. Well done!

Developer

Thanks! I spent a bit too much time in Blender and making music instead of making the actual gameplay.

Great game. I love its wonderfully chill aesthetics and sound design. The gameplay reminded me of the Spyro speedway levels.

Thanks for taking time to give feedback. I never played Spyro but I’ve heard good things about it

Your game looks great! I admire your art style, it's so simple yet beautiful, perfect for jams like this. Gameplay was also fun.

It runs well in Firefox, however it started lagging after 10 rings. It might be because of my browser though.

Good job!

I was surprised at just how well this ran on my old laptop! Nice and zen - very enjoyable.

P.S. One thing I forgot to mention was the fact that you had a cube showing on the graphics menu, so you could see in real time the different that changing the MSAA would make. That's a really neat touch.

Developer

thanks, I was targeting HTML5 so had to keep ambition in check!
