This game is very cool, I loved it. Good music choice and gameplay. Hard for me though.

Really nice game

I love how the game looks. It has a very nice tutorial. nice music, nice work.

Loved multible uses of electric gun and the

It is really impressive for a game made in 9 days.

For a bit of feedback:

Enemies are quite abundant and hard to kill.

The elctro vest upgrade is OP.

in the last stage, there is a glitch, if you take a frozen alien while holding a frozen alien, you get infinitly many aliens. Thats how i won actually,  the level was a bit challenging for me :"

Anyway, amazing game for second game jam ever. Iam Impressed

Developer

First of all, thank you kindly for your elaborative feedback! The game turned out to be much harder for other people since I got better at my game while playtesting it, I will pay attention to this phenomenon next time.

I added electro vest upgrade in the last minute with the intention of making the game easier for the last fight. Overall the game needs rebalancing.

I wasn't aware of the bug that you mentioned, thanks for that. Also when you click right mouse button or R after picking up an alien, you will lose it. This was supposed to drop the alien, but I neglected implementing it in order to meet the deadline.

I love this! So much fun and some great innovations. A wind-up gun is genius. Also the elevator music made me smile! Great polish all round. Great effort and only your second GWJ!?

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your comment! I didn't have many responsibilities last week so I spent lots of time, however I won't be able to allocate as much time to game development in the future.
P.S. This was your second GWJ as well, good job!

Awesome game! I can tell you put a lot of time and effort into it. The game included so much in terms of music, sound effects, and a fun level design! I like this game's interpretation of the theme too, everything is green even your gun!

Developer

Thank you for your compliments!

Fun game! I wonder what we did to make those spongebob jellyfish so angry...

The game was supposed to have 3 levels, the last of which would contain a "twist" and explanation to the question you asked. Since I could only realize first 2 levels, the story is not complete. I will take a break from this game, but if I decide to continue, I will definitely add content to clarify that point :D

So much character to this game. Frantically cranking to recharge your gun was hilarious! It could use a settings menu for mouse sensitivity, especially since the enemies were small, fast and tons of them! But seriously, was laughing out loud at the premise and the main mechanic. Thoroughly enjoyed the game!

Developer

I had plans to add a settings menu with remappable controls and mouse sensitivity, but unfortunately I didn't have enough time for these since I overscoped. Thanks a lot for your constructive feedback!

Really enjoyed this game!

The aesthetic was lovely and even the start menu - was not expecting that. was great!

I like the concept of shooting the solar panels, it had a real nostalgic *complete this task to get to the next level* vibe which I think went well with the aesthetic and gameplay.
The aliens SHOOK ME UP! I like that you had to double tap them but I was not expecting them to be that fast, caught me off-guard!

Goes without saying the 3D modelling was cool - world building was cool, good job!

Developer

Thanks for your kind comments! I was planning to add a lower difficulty option, but unfortunately I didn't have enough time to implement it before the deadline. I didn't want to make the game too easy, but now I think that easier games are usually more suitable for game jams.
