Great job here! I loved the way you implemented the hitting 7 mechanic on the dice. My only gripe is that I couldn't really tell when I was attacking or when the opponent was attacking other than inferring it happened from a change in HP. A little more structure around the turns would be good (visual or audio feedback, confirming of rolls, etc). Great effort here, loved the pixel art style you have!
Unfortunately the game crashes for me when fighting the second zombie in the tutorial. I tried a couple times and wasn’t able to get past it. I was using the fire fist.
The game looks interesting, but unfortunately I got stuck immediately due to not knowing how to select the attacks to go through the tutorial. Not quite sure how I'm supposed to do that, I tried wasd, arrow keys and 123.
A great concept and fun to play. With a little more polish (more visual effects, music, etc.) this would be awesome!
There are definitely rooms for improvement but the concept and the game mechanic are interesting!
Thanks!
Nice art style
I really liked the art! Very cute!
As others have said, it crashes when you get to the second enemy, but I'd love to play a polished version of this! Great exploratory work.
Thank you very much!
Nice idea. But the something must have gone wrong since the target dull could down to -22/10 HP and the I crashed on the next man
Thanks for feedback! Yea that's because you're not really supposed to do more than the two attacks on the dummy but i have no idea why the game crashes at the second guy.
Hi Mousemysak, I liked the tutorial part, it was good to explain what the attacks do. I liked the concept of attacks interacting with each other (setting gas on fire). I was confused when I didnt see any fire or poison effect, but I got the idea. I can circumvent the whole ability mechanic by spamming the dice button. Switching between the arrow keys (menu) to the mouse (main game) took a second to figure out. Overall, good stuff. This has lots of potential.
Bugs I found:
-If there is a fire fist sound, it doesnt play. But the other two abilities do.
-The second enemy crashes the game upon spawn
Thanks for the feedback! It's definetly in a rough state and i didn't have time to properly bug test it but i know there is no fire fist sound because i didn't get it in in time
