Nice, simple game. I like the aesthetics of it.

Live-streamed it here on my channel part 9: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC0NOIB5QFaVeBY2ECAtt_hg

Thank you! I was watching your videos before you played my game by the way. haha.
I just got surprised that you rated my audio with 4 starts while my game didn't had audio at all. lol

It's a simple game but was nice to play, graphics were wonderful. Good job!

Developer

Thank you!

This shows a lot of promise. Are you going to expand on it later? The mechanics feel nice (other than holding E for the key),  the limited graphics are nice, especially with the CRT filter, the animations are very nice and smooth. I found a few English errors, but I'm sure if you had time to playtest and whatnot it wouldn't have been an issue. If you're ever wanting to put some sound and music to it let me know. I'm always in the discord!

Thank you for the nice words, english is not my main language, so sometimes i make mistakes with it. I looked into your music, and i liked it a lot! And yes, i plan on expanding it later, but now i don't have the time for it unfortunately.

really nice game , design and controlls, but it feels a lil tripy on the graphical side of it , it made my small brain go wosh . I loved the game.Kepp on going .

Developer

Thank you for the kind words!
if you feel bad with the graphics you can disable the crt shader/filter on the start menu by the way.

Short but sweet, i like the limited colors aestetic :) also the crt filter looks cool, you made a good tutorial where everything is neatly explained and mechanics are laid out one at a time, i'd just say if i really had to nitpick, you should say that you have to press and hold the action button to take the key to avoid confusion, too bad there is no music or audio :( but hey nothing that can't be added later on.

Don't have any particular issue other than that, you god a solid base, just need some more levels.

Good job dude :)

PS : sorry about the accidental doublepost i missclicked :(

Life doesn't always go as expected and even if this game is short, it is nice to play it :)

I really like the shader you used. I am a bit sad that there was no music though.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the kind words!

I didn't know what kind of music would fit in the game, i was about to ask a friend to make one for me, but in the end i struggled to describe the kind of the feel i was going with the game, then i've said i would ask him again after the game was more finished, but when i did so, he could't work on it on time, so i decided to go without music instead of just picking something from the internet. :)

Simple but fun mechanics, lovely game, and the visual is AWESOME!

Love it!

Developer

Thank you so much! I'm really glad that you loved it!

Didnt figure out how to restart a level after i got stuck, so I gave up pretty quickly. But i love the artstyle. Did you make the CRT shader for this jam?

Developer

sorry, i forgot to uptade the game with the version that was working. The reset should be working now.

The crt shader i kinda mixed two shaders togheter, one from godot assetstore, and other that i found on the web, i did that to learn a bit of how shaders work.

Thank you everyone! The bugs you mentioned where fixed before, i just forgot to update the game on itch.io. lol

if anyone finds any other bug, please let me know, i won't fix them so soon, but i will fix them when i have time to do so.

About the easter egg, here is a hint:
It is on the corner of one of the levels (not the tutorial)

Submitted(+1)

Fun puzzle game! Some times the drop door opens when the level loads, so the box had already moved before pressing a button.

I'd also like a hint on your easter egg, I looked around and even broke the game at one level by jumping out of the map, LOL. Tried click on everything, tried dropping through floors that don't look like I should drop through them, tired looking down at every part of the game... blah! hint... thanks, lol

Developer

thank you! The version you played was an old version, because i forgot to upload the new version on itch.io. sorry about that. It should be fixed now.

Amazing work on shaders and visual style. Would have been nice is buttons had some visual feedback when activated.

Developer

i agree, i was planning on doing that, but i kept postponing it. Because of that i didn't even do it at the end.

Submitted(+1)

I unfortunately run on the same issue as luciol_e, I pushed the box too far.

Then restarted the browser and got to the end. Great fun!

Tried to look for the easter egg at the end, can you give us a hint?

Developer

Sorry, i forgot to update the game on itch.io with the last version, it should be working now!

Amazing aesthetic, wish it was a bit longer

Developer

Thank you! I am planning on making it bigger on the future!

I pushed the first box to the left but I think you have the conveyor belt next to the button going the wrong way, so it catches the box and pushes it against the wall. It's a really cool look for a game, love the shaders! Also the R button doesn't seem to restart the level either

Developer

yeah, sorry, this bug was already fixed long ago, i just forgot to update the game on itch.io

Developer

I didn't focused too much on the theme (juuust enought to be acceptable), i tried to focus more on doing something that looks nice. But sadly there isn't much levels to play. And i will not be able to make more until the end of the game jam.
