That was really cool! I was wondering if anyone made a gacha-styled game, glad you did!

I do wish there was some way to potentially see all of the dice that could be rolled. And, if you want to keep some special dice hidden, just put a question mark over it till it has been rolled then reveal the special dice! Would be nice to strategize a bit more on how to spend the money.

Well done!

Ah! Our battle system is similar to this, without the gachapon bit, so I totally sympathise with your concept. I think the Gachapon is a cool feat and makes total sense with the theme. I also really love your art and presentation. Well done!

Great game that fits the theme well. The UI was very cool. Good job!

Interesting gameplay, the fact that you lose all your dice after each fight make you think strategically about your resources

Very cool game, lovely presenation. I like how you collect the dice in a cup to throw them instead of just pressing a button.

As others have mentioned, D4s are where it's at :))

This game is really pretty and polished, and I enjoyed it. The balance wasn't very thought out, however. I can buy guaranteed D4s for 1 coin, which means I can roll on average a 2.5/coin. Even if I would get D20s every time I put 6 coins in (which isn't guaranteed), I would roll a value of 1.75/coin on average. And the optimal strategy doesn't even let you discover cool dice like the body die.

I really enjoyed the visuals and art, great job and submission!

Cool little game! I really love the way you implemented the theme of the jam, quite original! I really enjoyed the battles, and I can imagine this was a ton of work to be done in 48 hours! Graphics and music fit perfectly! If you have time to perfect the game, it would  drastically improve the experience if the coins spent to generate a die can be also decreased (for the moment you can only increase, and  unless I didn't notice it, I wish I would have known beforehand the HP of the enemy so I can plan correctly the number of dice I needed. It happened a few times I walked into battle with no chance of winning, because of my greediness to buy enough dice

Impressive idea. It would be nice to see what are the probabilities for non standard dice.

Really nice game,  but I recommend to limit the max number of dice can be used in the battle. Because I would only use one coin in the gacha and use HP/2 number of D4s which is easy win with no risk. Use more than 1 coin for the gacha is too risky in this version. But, nice idea and experiences!

Great looking game and really fun. Restarting a battle without the dice you used is a touch mean, but I can't stay mad at that tiny knight and the job-lin that beat him! I'd love to play a longer version of this. The body dice also definitely threw me for a loop, haha.

Thank you! And I agree, its the part of the state flow we were least concrete on and it didn't really come to be until we were in the home run stretch and doing anything else would have been too risky haha

"Body Dice" - 5 Stars

That was a lot of fun, well done! I love the art style, and as a D&D player it's impossible not to like a game that has D20s in it ;). Overall great concept and execution!

It's certainly a gatcha game :D I didn't want to stop playing!

The art/presentation is really great, and the menus are very clear and easy to follow.  The game seems to reward those who are good at predicting probabilities.

Awesome job!

Uhh got 19 on my last D20 against this 17hp dude :D so lucky. Very nice concept, extra enjoyble for DnD players. Thanks for letting me play this game :)

I keep getting d4 and it's driving me insane. Robgoblin is best goblin.

I FINALLY beat this after ~12 tries I refused to stop playing until I won - this should 100% be a full game please keep working on this after the jam!

Really great main mechanic, which could easily be turned into a full game :) Love the way it controls too, super interactive!

"wait till my goblin siblings hear of this" lol, love the wonky art and the dialogs are a nice touch
