This ties for best game of the jam for me. Simply incredible and immensely engaging.
Amazing game ! It's really fun and very well made. I always wanted to try again !
The one issue I have with the concept is that since you can stall some fights pretty much forever, then the RNG part of rolling numbers disappear as you can roll until you get exactly what you want. Which would be ok I guess but it takes forever and isn't very fun.
This is the best game I have seen so far!
Great concept! I really joyed the sound effects.
Fantastic style and GREAT sound design, i couldn't help but laugh when I first attacked the caterpillar. Fun core game loop that really nailed that "one more time" mentality. Really great entry, i hope you expand on it in the future. I also love that you can straight re-roll any number, still can't get past the snail though
Such a cool concept! I struggled at first, but then realized that the game is fairly easy to break by stalling in the first few easy fights to upgrade every card in the deck. There should be some mechanic that forces fights to end after some time to prevent me from getting an overpowered deck by fight #2, because then the rest of the game is too easy.
As a suggestion, maybe only allow a limited number of reshuffles per fight?
bad game bro
Easily the best game I've played in the game jam so far. Being able to reroll literally any number on screen is an amazing concept. Really creative idea, fantastic presentation, and a joy to play. The ramifications for being able to change any number are very well thought out. As a game jam game, I give it full marks, and sincerely hope it makes it into the video. In the future, I think there are a few ways you could polish it up more. Namely, I think it would be interesting if the number you roll and the number you're changing were swapped. For example, if you were changing a health of 18 to a 6, you die would now consist of the numbers 1,2,3,4,5,18. Maybe some kind of resource you could use to mulligan your die. I'm sure there are other ways you could improve, and I really hope I get to see more from this game after the jam is over.
Beautiful. Love the visuals and SFX
THIS!!!! This game is amazing. I managed to win, after a LOT of thought. I loved every second of it. The ONLY, and I mean ONLY, bad thing about this game… is the music. Everything else is just amazing. Great job.
5/5 everything.
Amazing game! I really love this unique idea of rolling literally every number. Such a cool twist, the difficulty was good enough, the art style is cute, and the voice lines are hilarious XD. There were enough cards and enemies to keep the game interesting, and also pretty polished. Great submission, well done!
Great game! I enjoy this game, Impressive game in such a short time. Great job!
Feel free to check my game if you want to challange your brain muscle!
The idea is so clever with fantastic execution! This is fantastic, one of the best entries in the whole jam! Very well done! 🍓
EVERYTHING about this game is great! Best mechanic I've seen submitted and such nice art to look at.
Really fun concept! Music and presentation were both really amazing. Excellent work!
Very cool concept.
It took me a bit of time to understand I could use the dice rolls of literally any number but once I understood that it was quite fun.
The only downside I see is that it's a bit short but it's to be expected for a Jam game. Amazing work!
Amazing concept and amazing execution! I am sure we see this game in the GMTK video!
Lot of potential to create a full game out of it! Congrats
holy crap, this game is so damn good its unreal
One of the more clever integrations of dice mechanics into turn-based combat that I've seen so far. Surprising amount of strategy involved in choosing when to roll and which numerical values to adjust. Really have to keep an eye on all the values on screen. Very charming presentation as well. Excellent work!
The music was completely fitting for the fun game style. I loved the creativity of changing the numbers for either you or your enemy. The best part though, was the sound effects, especially the caterpillar. Great Job, gang.
