The game was a little buggy, but the art assets looks great . Good job!
Dont think I even have to mention the art cause I think we all know it is absolutley fantastic! Also really enjoy how the dice are actual physical objects on the field, makes it feel very boardgame like which is really cool!
Love how you say the title when starting as well hahah!
Great work! :D
I really enjoy how the games looks although it is quite buggy, I really enjoy the game
I agree with most of what was said already. I's a very good looking game, I think it's a good game for the before-mentioned DnD campaigns. Maybe also take some of the DnD rules if you were to develop it further! But its a bit buggy, I had diffulties with attacking myself. Overall, very enjoyable game.
Looks very clean and polished from the outside, nice 3d art, good music, and fits the theme, but when playing a few bugs shone through when playing. If an input is given within a certain timeframe after the previous input, it eats the input and you're forced to choose a different direction. When the AI hits an outer wall it seems to freeze up and forces a restart, and the attack never seemed to work (even though I had points left). Probably needs some polishing but could be really fun
Looks great! Love the title announcement. Unfortunately I can't seem to attack slimes (and I walk right through them) and it's not really clear to me who's turn it is, so it feels like I'm stuck.
Thanks for the comment! To attack slimes you have to face them and press right click. In the top left corner you can see who's turn it is. If it is a mouse its your turn. And sometimes there is a bug where you never get a turn and the game is stuck. I hope this helps.
very interesting gameplay, a bit buggy tho
i wish we could see what was happening when its the enemies' turn, i thought the game bugged out when playing the first time and restarted before understanding what was happening, then the game actually bugged out by not giving me my turn back.
a good idea with a great potential, just needs some polish
I think slimes don't move when they confront the wall...I can't continue the game :(
Great concept tho! And the sound is really satisfying.
The art and gameplay is delightful, but I do get impatient waiting around. Making things just a bit faster would help fix the game's pacing.
Great visuals. It evokes the feel of real-life D&D campaigns. A lot of work was done on this during the span of the Game Jam. Good job!
I enjoyed it, the game looks really good too but I personally felt like moving felt a bit too slow, probably just a me thing. Overall great.
I’ll start with the bad and move on to the good, first there seems to be a bug, where in an enemy’s turn it will roll the dice, but not make any move, which ends up blocking the game and having to restart; not a bug but something I feel can be improved is that for enemies’ turn the camera doesn’t follow, stuck to the player, so if you’re lucky the enemies are insight and you can see and know what they are doing, but if you’re unlucky they’ll be off-screen and you have no choice but to wait with nothing going on on-screen.
Now for the good, it’s an interesting concept, the art and ambience fit well, a good take on the theme, with some polishing this could be quite fun.
Looki absolutely stunning! It's a shame you have to wait for every enemy's roll and movement, but it's a great proof of concept.
Neat little game! The goops’ turns felt way too long, though.
