20 RATINGS!

A fine idea, but it sometimes hard to grasp what's going on and there are scenarios that are impossible to do with given moves.

Also I believe it's a bit too harsh to kill player after one mistake ;)

Yeah sorry bout that. Also, I just want to say. Loved your game! Nice job on it.

Cool game! I liked the puzzle mechanic of it, and the voice lines are great! I did find it a bit frustrating at times, though as I often found myself unable to get out of the way with the moves at hand. It's also kind of hard to see where you're going to go. Also, like the "use" action didn't really make sense to me either. I tried playing around with it, but I couldn't really understand it even with multiple playthroughs. Restarting was also kind of tough as it forced me to basically reload the page. Still, though, I found the concept interesting and when the character did move the way I wanted it to, I had a lot of fun! Good work!

Developer

Yeah.  Sorry about that. We ran out of time. Thanks for the feedback

Really cool puzzle game!  It's a unique take on the theme for sure.  Really impressive that you made it in scratch too!  During combat, it might help to have a grid on the map so you can see what two movements looks like, and maybe slow down the playing of the actions.  Enjoyed it nonetheless :D

Yeah sorry. I was going to make like Undertale where you are in a box, but my team said no. (That it would be a poor decision.)

It's really cool that you made this in Scratch! I made my game in Scratch/Turbowarp as well... The concept and take on the theme are both really interesting, so nice job!

Developer

Thanks! Always nice to see another scratcher

It's a pretty complicated system, so maybe you should've put more effort into explaining the mechanics. But a neat idea nonetheless.

Developer

Yeah. Basically everyone agrees with you. :)

We are going to start the full version after the voting period is over.

Nice touch with the voiceover! Mechanics is really interesting, but instructions are a bit confusing. I’d say something like “drag actions to reorder them”

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I really appreciate it. We are still going to be working on the game. However, yes. Most people said the instructions were unclear.

very nice voice acting ^^
a little difficulties to understand at first sight but after i get it i found it was a very original concept. Well done mate

Developer

Thanks! I saw one game with a slightly similar mechanic.

"To do actions, drag the dice". But I cannot drag the dice? I have to drag the tiles at the bottom. Dice rolls itself. It wasn't clear immediately what to do.

And one hit - game over without possibility to restart ouch, thats painful:/ I had to restart like 3 times to get what is going on at all, because I died immediately. Everything happens so fast, and then I'm dead. A field with spaces would really help, like a chessboard.

Nice presentation, game works nicely too, but I cannot finish it with only one life, sorry;) Oh and voice acting, awesome:D

Thanks! A lot of those issues, we just ran out of time. However, we will soon be releasing an updated version. We have many plans.

S+ Voice acting! Reminded me of Sean Bean

Developer

Thanks!

I'm not sure if it's the game's balancing or if it's me, but I just can't get very far into the fight. I think it's very nice looking and sounding (certainly wasn't expecting voice acting, but it was a nice surprise), but I just can't get very far into the game.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. If you check in later a “Full Version” if the game is going to be released, and aims to fix these issues.

Developer

Also yeah. The only play tester we had was struggling a bit too. Ran out of time though sadly.

Nice work on the voice acting! (Or is that not you?) Anyway, I like that you have some nice art and a sorta intro. I would recommend never having a fail state that completely ends the game. It will keep people playing longer if you just force it to restart for them or at the very least make it trivially easy to start again. Nice work though!

Developer

Yeah. Just had to make it, ran out of time. And no, the voice acting is not me.

Developer

Also, thanks a lot!

First time I've seen voiceover in a jam game, it was a nice surprise honestly. Gameplay was complicated at first, but it's fun when you get used to it.

Developer

Thanks a lot!

Reading this again, I said role not roll. Too late now...
