Neat idea! :D I ran into a couple of issues though. :( Might be the web version or the fact that I'm not using a QWERTY keyboard. Often the game wouldn't actually recognize that the dice were on 1. Or the level would be marked as completed, even though the dice were somewhere else completely. Still very creative take on the theme though! And it seems to work fine for other people.

Much love from another Godot enthusiast! Did you know that you can click Edit Game and navigate to Metadata > Engines & Tools to indicate which engine (and other tools) you used btw?

Developer

Oh no! That’s really strange, in my tests the dice orientation code seemed pretty robust.

Hell yeah for Godot! I can’t imagine making a game in 6 hours in another engine. I did not know about the metadata, I’ll go add that now!

Thanks for checking out this silly little game 😁

I can't explain why but this is one of the best games I've ever played!

Interesting game. I did however encounter a glitch where my F key was recorded as held down when it wasn’t, making the first level with 2 dice impossible.

This is super cool. Such an original and creative concept. Figuring out how to get all the dice separated so you could individually manipulate all of them to roll to one is just super fun. And having the play area be an actual keyboard makes it super intuitive to understand and feels great. Great Job!

Deceptively simple and a very creative take on the jam. I thought it was a typing game at first but glad I was wrong!

Cool game! Getting all 5 took me longer than I'd care to admit lol

Very Creative!

cool idea, fun to play about with, physics was a bit floaty and some levels I beat by just spamming my keyboard.

neat!

Nice simple but interesting idea. I enjoyed my time with the game.

Totally agree !!!! Awesome games

Good game, but I don't enjoy physics in this game much.

Thanks for checking it out! What would you change about the physics?

I'm back and have rated the game! This is a very cool innovation compared to other more classic games! There is a lot of potential with this project!

Developer

Hey thanks for coming back to check it out! I’m glad you liked my silly idea 🤠

Very interesting! Creative way of looking at the keyboard. Well done!

This is an awesome mechanic, and now I wanna see more people make games using the keyboard like this.

Wow, thats really cool

Really unique concept, actually surprisingly fun given it's simplicity!

This is a very creative concept! Haven't seen anything like this before, although may be harder for those with foreign keyboards!

I'm not exactly sure how to win though, I put the dice on the 1 and nothing is happening. It says 0/1 and I die if I press "next level"

Developer(+1)

Yeah, rip those with non-qwerty keyboards :( I am using Godot’s PhysicalKey system so the keys should still match up spatially, but yeah the image would need to be swapped out for other keyboard types.

Sounds like you found a bug! The screen is supposed to be tinted green as soon as you get all dice on 1 at the same time, meaning you can progress to the next level using the button. Level 2 also has one dice btw, but the starting location and rotation is different. Levels after have more dice.

Thanks for taking the time to play and comment!
