Brilliant puzzle mechanic. When the overlaps came into play I was so happy. Would love a longer version of this one day!

loved this - very unique sokoban game with a neat central mechanic! the switching color mechanic feels like it was introduced at the perfect time to avoid things feeling stale. very curious what a longer version would look like

Neat little game - love you used pico8 for this - the sokoban with frameloop mechanic is something I can see explored in many directions. Great job!

Hello fellow sokoban maker! Love how simple and elegant this is. I could see this expanded with more levels and mechanics! The visuals and audio are great too! One of my favorites that I've played so far.

Man what a great idea!

I also made a sokoban game with a recursion twist, check it out!

Very fun game! I loved the mechanics and the progression level. I've never felt so "not dumb" and smart solving a puzzle. And the end makes me so free. See that little thing gets its freedom was so delightfull :3

Extremely sharp design, I don't think I've ever seen this before? Impressive you designed such intricate puzzles in such a short time too. Would love to see more of this!

I loved this! The mechanic is intuitive but has so much depth baked into it, especially as the different looping areas start to overlap. It was the perfect length for me and the amount of care that you've put into the level designs just explodes out of the screen. I kept saying oooooo and aaaaaa as the different solutions unveiled themselves lol.

Agree! This is one true gem! Simple, fun, addictive and I managed to finish this game! :). Love it

Amazing! Very "baba-is-you" like. Has a ton of expansion potential.

Man, this ended way too soon! I really like this mechanic, but we’d only just gotten everything introduced, and I was looking forward to some trickier puzzles making use of what we’d learned. I’d love to see an expanded post-jam version of this, if you’re up for it. This was really well-made. I liked how smooth it felt to play, as opposed to some Sokoban-likes which just snap you between squares. Nice work on this!

Absolute gem to find! Fun and simplistic gameplay with some challenging yet not overly difficult levels (Would love to see some more difficult levels in a full release someday!). Art style was an absolute gift to the eyes and sound design didn't make me want to unplug my headphones so plusses all round!! Only issue is that I would have loved to see more of this game where the different colours and puzzles involving them could have been explored a bit more. All in all a lovely experience to which I will most definitely be coming back to from time to time!!

This was a delight. The looping regions--with color!--applied to sokoban was great. I also really appreciate how you used very clean art (love that 1-bit tileset) and deliberate color to give good feedback to the player. Also, a little dash of story... I'm freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

I hope you do return to this and add more levels. :)

Very clever take on sokoban. Loved the looping area concept, the only thing I wish for is more levels. Really looking forward to the post-jam version.

Changing colors really adds more flavors to the typical space loop. The number of levels is a perfect fit for a game jam, though the level could be a little bit more challenging. Better to be able to recognize the correspondence of buttons and doors visually. Well done.

Thanks! I wish I had more time to add some more difficult levels, though I’m hoping to revisit the game and add more content after the jam is over.

For the doors and buttons, the buttons will actually open any doors on the same row/column. In the post-jam version of the game I’ll be sure to include a level to tutorialize that.

Fun game with clean visuals! I'd love to see more levels for this. The base gameplay concepts have a lot of potential.
