Super great and polished game! Love the amount of content you managed to pack into just 4 days of development. As Icefish Software mentioned it definitely has Mini Motorways vibes.

Quite good, the simple design works well with the scaling difficulty; you can start to loop much faster once you get better upgrades, and then the fish gain more sides to match pace.

Aw, that's fair. I think having more unique ways to use the looping mechanic to defeat enemies would have helped fix that problem somewhat, but I ran short on time to expand things further. That's sort of what I was going for with the two sword-wielding enemies, because you have to hit them from behind. Anyways, thanks for playing my game!

I absolutely adore the visual style of this game! How did you make that distortion effect on the background? Is that just sine wave distortion over a static background or?

Cool game! Visuals look very polished. As others have mentioned controller support would be good, or ability to change the keybinds at least (I'm not used to not using WASD lol)

Super cool game, easy to understand and hard to master. Great stuff!

Incredible idea! Very polished, aesthetic is great too. Well done.

Pretty cooll! I love how responsive the animation is on the floor, really adds a level of polish to the game.

Pretty good! Just wish it was easier to see which of your action blocks line up with the opponent's action blocks

Awesome idea and theme! Really creative.

Creative use of the jam's theme!

Great game! Being able to exploit "loopholes" was a very creative interpretation of the jam theme!

So glad you enjoyed it! Yeah I tried to prioritize balancing the difficulty scaling when I was working on it, I wanted it to be challenging but not unfair as you said. :)

lol yeah when I was developing it it occurred to me that the topology was a torus, it just seemed a bit difficult to incorporate that idea into the rest of the game and I wasn't sure others would get the reference. Maybe I should have included some donut shaped enemies or something. Anyways, thanks for the review!

Loved the artwork! Very charming, although the small size of the screen relative to the level made navigating a bit difficult.

Really solid game! The little guys in the background were interesting to look at every level, and there was a good number of levels in the game.

Interesting! The wonky controls are fun to mess with, although I'm not sure what you're supposed to do once you hold left click and the car stops. Pause menu is also pretty polished, which is nice.

Interesting, kind of reminds me of Geometry Wars

I managed to cheat by jumping on top of enemies heads and then just skipping straight to the end, lol.

I like the music, I think the enemies should be colored differently so they contrast against the background more. It was easy for me to lose track of them when playing

It doesn't show an error but the title of the window that opens is Hillbert Tower (DEBUG). I've seen some other games on here do the same behaviour where it's a black screen with '(DEBUG)' on the window title, not sure if it's an issue with my computer or not

Fun twist on the jam theme! Love the simple design and how responsive and physics-y the lasso is. The deadpan "try harder." if you die too soon is also very funny. Having the snakes that land on the ground be there permanently was probably a good design choice even if it can be frustrating, since it prevents the game from going on infinitely. It might have been even better if there's a way to clear them but it gets more and more difficult the longer the game progresses.

Great game! Love the sprites and it's very satisfying shooting down enemy cars while dodging their bullets.

I had the same problem, just opens on a black screen

Wasnt really sure how to play this one, and I think part of the menus go off the screen for my computer

Game just opens on a black screen for me

Yeah I'm having the same problem as everyone else here, game can't be launched

This was fun but I didn't read the rules until the end so I ended up just spamming the button to try and see how many objects I could shake off the edge,  lol

Easy and super fun to play! Getting large combos feels great too.

Yeah, sorry about that! Should have thought to include alternative control options or keybinding.

So good! The aesthetic is amazing, minigames are fun, and the dialogue was so charming I found myself running around to interact with every little thing.

Interesting idea! Making the intruder slip on a banana peel was so funny lol

I'm having the same problem, there's no way to jump up to the next part of the stage

Yeah I tried that and it didn't work... I wonder if it's my computer that's the problem (it's from 2015)

Love the art style and vibe! Definitely think the difficulty is a bit low, and more variety as you go through levels would help significantly

Perfectly executed idea, great work

Awesome game! Super polished and has that 'easy to understand, hard to master' feel to it. Great work.

Love how meta it is! Minigames were fun and simple enough to understand immediately with no tutorials. Also I spent an embarrassing amount of time talking to the teammate at the start and then had to rush through all the minigames to make it in time, which is probably very relatable to the experience of making a game with others lol

Super interesting concept! Really tough, as you have to manage your team to be strong but also plan ahead for when you have to defeat them. Well done.

Interesting story and unique vibe. Could definitely do with a way to skip dialogue so it's more replayable and you don't have to sit through text you've already read.
