I enjoyed becoming the big dude and clubbing people. Also thought the intro text was really nice, plus the gateways to the different levels.

this was pretty creative! i liked the story and the art going on, and the small guy was definitely cool to use for his mobility and smaller hitbox along with the gun

I like the swapping mechanic, the idea that the weapons are the "same" but different. Very fun. I think a cool mechanic would be more strengths/weakness for the enemies, like rock-paper-scissors. Or maybe cooldowns for the abilities to encourage frequent changing.

Art is great, really impressed all this was done in a weekend! The whole team should be proud.

Very nice! Def think the small guy is a bit better. Perhaps a few enemies that require to be hit with specific attacks might help. (Maybe there are and I didn't get that far?)

Fun stuff! I liked the mashup of sci-fi & nautical. There's a ton of fun lore potential there

cool game nice pun in the title. Character switching is cool, shooting stuff and hitting things with bat also cool!

really fun combat and nice art style! also really enjoyed the combat sfx :)

Submitted(+2)

Hell yeah, I love the combat, tbh I might come back and play more later, you guys did great, well done! :))

Developer

Thanks!

Great combat and nice music! It remind me of playing Jayce in League of Legends.

Submitted(+2)

I liked being the small guy

Really cool game with addictive game loop. Had a tone of fun with it. Great work

Really good work on the art and sound design, I think the gameplay favours using Squall a bit more than Brig but it's still a really fun core gameplay loop that really takes advantage of each level's environment

Man, this game plays smooth af! I also really loved the sfx. As a sci-fi nerd, this was a wonderfully realized game world.

It's Bonk Time!
Found out the best strategy for giant lazer robots is to go big, and outdamage them with bonk spam.
Also fun when the little guy's shield turns him into a bouncy ball and you can cosplay as sonic xd

Developer

'The People hate you Sire' - love the pfp.

Glad you liked it - We had a bug in one version where the laser did damage before full charge and just made the titans nightmare fuel.

Beat the game with only yellow robot; love his dash mechanic.

Developer

It started off static and getting bumped around and then someone said 'What if Pinball...'

Submitted(+4)

wow this so good, character designs and animations are on point

enjoyed playing

amazed on the number of different enemies (The big boss scared me with its lazer beam xD)

Love the vibes of the Hammer Guy (and its tiny sword ! made me laught sorry ^^)

the cam is a bit clunky, but aside that I realy enjoyed playing :)

Great Job !

Developer

Glad you loved it - one of the things that made us laugh in design is the way they both use each others weapons.

Nice idea for the theme!

I manage to complete all four levels.

There is so many mobs each with his own behaviour, the two characters formes with there own strength and weakness and none of them are useless.

Congrats to be able to make all of that done in the jam duration.

Developer

Cheers - it really was a close run thing! The mob behaviours was something we really wanted to change up from last time we did one of these, where they just all ran at you.

Really fun game! Surprising how much you got done in less than 96 hours.

Developer(+1)

Thanks - I'm really surprised we did get it done after all - it was a close run thing.
