Your pixel art is extremely good. This game feels very polished. Nice job. I liked the platforming take on it and the intro was quality :D

The thing I didn't like gameplay-wise was that when you place the platforms with C, it resets you to the checkpoint. I'd rather it just have you stop on the platform you just created. That would make it flow better IMO, rather than having to keep going back.

Cheers. I'm glad I had time to add the sound. It does make a difference you're right. Often gets left til the end as a secondary thing but 100% worth doing.

Haha

OH this is very creative I think.

It gets pretty difficult when you get more viruses to fence up. And you gotta be really quick to react with the keys input sometimes. But that's not a bad thing.

Great upgrade system. Some of the bullet mechanics had interesting visual cues which I thought was a nice touch.

Overall solid game

Fun game mechanics and looks nice too. I liked how the cute cows grew your army size.

I didn't really like that I had to click where to move and then also lock in the move with spacebar, but maybe that's just me.

I think I lost mouse input a few times , so had to restart the level but wasn't game breaking.

I think you did very well to make this in the time you had.

Diggin the industrial take

Reminds me of some of the old warcraft 3 custom game modes.

I think this is a cool idea with some potential. You got the basic thing working too. I didn't understand the bit around placing the traps very well. But I'm guessing that was part of the "unfinished" stuff.

Worth finishing building this game if you get the time to.

Was actually really fun and surprisingly easy to learn and get something up and running. There's a lot of built-in stuff you can use that works great for a simple 2D game.

I didn't like the in-editor coding experience much. It was really hard to refactor stuff and keep things organised and I imagine in a big project this would be a pain but maybe there are plugins or other solutions for it.

Ok this is nice. I enjoyed buffing my microbes and then watching them bounce around. Also the little pictures on the cards were great. Good upbeat choice of music too. One of my favourites from the jam.

Lol very relatable situation. Fun balancing the different meters.

Very good for your first game. I liked how you gave it a japanese setting and it wasn't just doing math on its own.

I thought this was very creative. I'd not imagined rock paper scissors in this sense before.

Cheers, my friend Noi made the sprites.

Glad you liked it.

good luck and enjoy

interested to see what its like coming from unity

This game creates a very intriguing atmosphere that compels you to delve deeper. There is a lot of amusement to be had within.

I maintain the toilet is one of the best experiences I've had in a game ever. I don't want to spoil it for people but it's so trippy. Love it.

I will be following the development of this game closely.

I like how the FOV changes when you transform. The mech and jetpack felt nice to use.

Wow this is a very entertaining concept that's been so well executed too. I appreciated the little pictures of past customers that pinned to the board.

Thiccc fortress. I liked the visuals - felt like it was being played on a CRT monitor.

HAHA the audio is top tier good. That was the most enjoyable thing about this game for me, particularly the speech you make after the player dies. I found the rotation difficult to get a handle on. Creative take on the theme though and one of the more unique games I've played in this jam.

Clever take on the theme. I'm sure everyone here can relate to scope creep as a problem :D Funny to see a game built around that. Platforming was good although the dash while falling didn't go in the direction I was expecting (maybe this was by design though).  Good game

Fantastic mechanic. Really liked how you could control multiple cats and weave them together. Very on theme.

Good risk/reward mechanic with the time limit and being able to buy access to deeper rooms

Very satisfying bulldozing through enemies when scaled up. Thought the boss level was really cool as well. Nice job. This was the perfect length for a jam submission imo. I really liked one bit where an enemy suddenly appears out of the shadows and does a surprise ranged attack along with a sound effect was a really cool touch.

I like it. Simple premise and game feels nice to play. The 3rd level was designed well, having different parts for different sized balls.

Cool hierarchy of dolls and a creative concept in general. Took me a minute to get used to the jumping but once I had that down it was very fun. Funny choice of name for the game as well.

(1 edit)

I found the platforming quite awkward but wow the time scaling feature was amazingly well done. I found the general atmosphere of the game very intriguing too.

Nice illustrations the resource management

Love it. The fast pace is great. The upgrade system is brilliant and really makes everything super satisfying late game.

Very entertaining :D I liked the camels comparison

Liked it a lot. Song and scoring system was cool. Would've liked the left and right hand UI to be a bit closer together (maybe it's just me but hard to see the both at the same time). Loved how the grades were named (B)east, (S)hredded, etc.

WOW how cool is this. Very clever level design and mechanics (loved the recoil thing) and everything feels SO nice. The goo squeezing through gaps in the wall <3.

+ Amazing synthy trippy music omg. Hope you get a high place in the jam as you deserve it

Interesting idea. Game has a lot of depth for a jam submission. Like others have said the UI wasn't the most intuitive but could work it out. Took me a minute to realise I could open the order and keep that grid on the screen while using the other equipment stations. Cool grading system with the gem/stat combinations. One of the games I've spent the most time on. Also the music is very relaxing which makes it comfy to play.

Thought the research mechanic was really cool and impressed by the UI.

Cool mechanic. The way the eyes move on the monster at the start is creepy :D

Nice skybox

I enjoyed becoming the big dude and clubbing people. Also thought the intro text was really nice, plus the gateways to the different levels.

Cute frog!!

Fun game. Sound effects were my favourite part - the little "help me!" from the kebab guy got me every time. Would've been nice maybe to be able to rotate the objects (without making them collide with things).
