It’s a really unique concept! I loved how you can freely adjust the balance between items and difficulty.

I loved this game! And maybe I'm biased, because I also made a roguelike, but I think this is a super cool idea. Well done!

Holy shit this is a fantastic idea for a game. I am really impressed. As soon as I made my first layout and started playing I was like, "oh... OHHHH, I get it now!"

Played through a few times and I'll say this is a very well executed game for this game jam. I didn't get any sound though? Was there sound?

Regardless, this has been one of my faves so far. Thanks for making this! I want a full version!

Developer

Thanks! Im glad to hear that you enjoyed it!
I didnt get to add any music within the timeframe though.

Cool idea having the player build the dungeon, but I definitely didn't understand what I was supposed to do at the start.

Cool concept, very impressive for a game made in 16h. I would have loved to have more rooms to play with and make more intricate dungeons.

really neat game! the upgrades on the wand are very fun and the lack of heals make the game feel more rewarding when you do survive for a long time!

A very cool idea to make the player build and scale the difficulty of the rooms themselves! Having loot based on the positions of the rooms is a nice touch too.

I loves upgrades! Neat that I can kind-of design my own level befor a run.

Really nice game, I agree with the comment about music and sound in general.

THIS IS SUCH A COOL CONCEPT!!! I am suffering the consequences of the dungeon which i built!

Cool Game!

Cool and unique concept! Really admire the fact that you guys spent time with all the enemy variants, difficulties, and upgrades. Would be perfect if there was a lore or backstory on why the player gets to design the dungeon in the first place but anyway Great work!

Lot's of fun to be had with this game, If only there were some music and a bit more game juice I would have forgotten about rating the other games and just kept playing. Great job.

LOVE the idea! A more fleshed out version would be a game i would buy on steam, good work! A lot of potential :)

Thanks for the feedback, and I'm really happy that you appreciated my game!

This game was really great! Everything about it was really intuitive and super fun. I've never seen level design be that simple yet fun! Literally my only issue with this game is that sometimes when you were trying to scale rooms the scaler UI would disappear before u reached the end, but other than that this game was as close to perfect as possible!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, and I'm really happy that you appreciated my game!

I'll look into the UI bug... I'll try to fix it in my non-game jam version of this game.

THIS WAS SUPER FUN!!! One of my favorites so far. The level builder idea is really cool and then game play is typical shoot the enemies while running around. Great concept, great style with cute art, the weapons scale well, enemy sprites are great. Took me a minute to figure out what to do/how gameplay worked, but once I did this was super fun! Great game.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!
I'll make a better tutorial in the non-game jam game, since the game does seem a bit hard to get the hang of.
Otherwise, I'm really happy that you enjoyed my project!

Very fun concept! I could definitely play it for a while. I like the fact that you control the time size of the rooms. I’d make the shooting automatic, since there are no reason to not be shooting all the time. Other than that, cool game!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!
I'll add an option to toggle automatic firing in the non-game jam version.

I couldn't figure out how to full screen this game, I really liked the risk/reward of going for the extra upgrade though. Ultimately I thought Id built an amazing wand and took too big of a risk trying to clear every dungeon floor!

Thanks for the feedback!
You can't really full screen the game, as due to an unforseen bug zooming in or out makes the game break... 😅

It might be good to make the Confirm Layout button stand out more when you have a valid dungeon, and when you're in the dungeon movement feels very slide-y and hard to control for the number of enemies/projectiles on screen.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!
I'll put that into mind when publishing a more polished non-game jam version.
It would probably be a good idea to make a better tutorial, yeah...

hey, this concept sounds realy cool but i dont really get how to play. I build something out but I dont see any button or way to start or change level

Developer

Oh... Sorry, I might've made the buttons not really look like buttons.
There's a small 'Confirm Layout' button in the bottom right corner of the level creation screen :/

I'll put that into mind when publishing a more polished non-game jam version, thanks for the feedback!
