How does your game fit the theme?
The core mechanic of the game revolves around the player’s ability to change scale. This scaling mechanic is not just a fun toy but a fundamental element that drives the gameplay. Players must cleverly use this mechanic to navigate challenging terrain, solve intricate puzzles, and progress through the levels. The scaling mechanic is also hindrance of the player, Certain obstacles and challenges are designed to exploit the player’s changing size, making them a “stone” in the path that tests the player’s ability to adapt and strategize.

Great and simple premise though the early levels 2 in particular are a bit tight on tolerance making them more frustrating than good for learning the game
Nice work! Just curious, did the message at the end imply I missed something for a true ending or was there a "?" because she's still stuck as a .jpg?
My tip to make game better is to make jumps less pixel perfect. Amazing that from simple to understand rules became interesting puzzles.
Bonus points for cats :D
Great job :) It was a little frustrating having to wait for the level to change my size but the overall theme and vibe was very nice
Neat idea, though I can't help but wonder if it might have been a bit better to give the player some more manual control over their size, as the level design being the only way to change your scale means it can get kinda frustrating, especially when there's size resetters that make you do things over again. That aside, still a fun little puzzle game, and a silly cat.
Cute game and good level design. Mechanic definitely fits the theme. Overall well done!
It has a weird soundtrack, but goo weird? Like, the Rayman 3 kind of weird, so it works. It's a simple concept, but the puzzles were designed well, and were relatively fun to play through. I think that there was a little difficulty in some of the jumps that had to be quite precise whilst being quite floaty, but it wasn't a big issue. Enjoyable submission, gg <3
Reading the description I thought we made the same game. Then played it. Turns out they are very, very different :)
The car graphics is great
I LIKE THE CAT AND YOUR AESTHETICCCC
Thank you so much for the compliment, if you have face any problem please comment below.
Nice concept! Must have been tedious to place all those platforms. Also, the old monitor effect is really cool.
Thank you for commenting, it is quite difficult for the level design, I will make it better in the future.
Nice Puzzle mechanics, a very intriguing entry! Well done! ^^
Thank you very much for playing and commenting, I will keep improving the game.
Wow, really loved your use of the theme! love that the theme was baked into your mechanics. What a cool concept, would love to see it explored more!
Thank you for playing, really appreciate your comment. If you have any problems feel free to comment below.
Man this game is smart! Love the mechanic, and the presentation is simple but effective. The fact that you can reset the level with R makes failure a learning experience, which is great. Two things that bothered me a bit (both are rather minor): The color-correspondance between warps seems counter-intuitive (I would have expected dark blue to be connected with light blue, etc.), and for some jumps i feel like they really need to be timer pixel-perfect, which can be frustrating for people who are more interested in the puzzle. Still, i freed Maisy, so all's well that ends well, i guess :D
Thank you very much for your comments, must take you long to write those comments. For the problem you faced, first the portal color is the opposite color of each other and I do admit some of the jumps are hard to make, I will fix them in the future.
Really inventive and fun! although another idea for changing your scale would be if it were possible to change it while moving near the wall, might make the level design more interesting, for an option.
Thank you for the suggestions, I will consider that in the future updates, I have a lot of improvement to make.
Good start. I don't feel like the resizing mechanic is a choice that the player makes to solve the puzzle. It is just an effect that happens as you progress through a simple platformer.
Yes, I was going to add more features to make the game for fun to solve, but I am in short of time. Thank you for the comment though.
The idea is fantastic but, to be fair, it’s so linear that it rarely feels like a puzzle game. I enjoyed the presentation with the CRT monitor and very clean graphics.
You are probably correct, I will spend more time on the level design to make it more like a puzzle game, thank you for the review.
There’s a cat in the game, so it’s almost a full score for me just because of that. The way the game uses the character's 'scale' to adjust its speed and jump height is clever. I only wish the physics were a little better. Also, I love how the first level actually looks like a cat.
Thank you for playing and compliment to the cutie. I will surely improve the physics of the game and maybe more story in the future.
Simple but fun platformer that used the theme well for an interesting mechanic. It felt easy to control but on a couple of jumps, the cat could get stuck on the corner of a wall and I would have to try a few times until it made it up. Fun game, I liked it and reached the end.
Thank you for playing and your review, I will adjust the platforming parts of the game in the future.
