Wow, an amazing concept!
Thank you! Happy you liked it :).
Love the concept and art! Level design could use some tweaks so that the builds are usable on them. Those first spikes are a menace to everyone but the base goblin, but maybe that means he was just the perfect hero all along :)
Haha you got the message, probably you're right! Thanks very much for playing our game.
First of all, congrats for the cutscene at first, second, ahah the legs omg, i'm freaking tall but i cannot jump at all with this build ahah !! Very cool approach of the theme and use of the plateformer with the stats ! Very cool to play !
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed experimenting with different builds and liked the idea. We wanted add more level with all the builds, we plan to do it when the jam will end.
Incredible opening, that was so far beyond what I'd expect for being able to be finished during a Jam, well done.
There is a little bit on jankeyness but I didn't feel I could just cheese any of the puzzles so that's some good design and testing. I'm very impressed overall,
I particularly liked all the variety goblin builds available.
This was a really good effort, well done!
Many thanks! We did our best :)
Levels are a bit difficult and there are some problem with collission. But we are going to fix it!
Another thing we noticed is a missing tutorial. That would help you to understand how to overcome obstacles in the right way. For now you can find some hints in the game's description.
Hope you'll give to our game another chance when we'll upload a fixed version :)
That was charming! The character art is proficient, and the concept is intriguing and clever. It's a bit janky; it's sometimes possible to jump up the side of walls by getting stuck in them. All-in-all, good work!
you discovered the very secret power of our little goblin, the sticky walls!
Just joking, we're currently working on a revisioned version post jam with some more upgrades! Thank you so much for playing our game ^^
so nice game art and animation, not good level design
Thank you ! :)
What do you mean with "not good level design"? Can you be more specific so we can improve it?
Cute hero! Great idea, that I can choose characteristics for hero and prepare him to different dungeons
Thank you! Our little goblin is indeed really cute ^^
And thank you so much for the compliment, we tried our best in the time we had!
Very fun idea. I had trouble with the way the boxes slide around when you're trying to push them with precision. I think the concept would work better if things were built to more snugly fit in a tile system. The way the boxes can get pushed a tad too far and land in an unreachable place, or slide off of the buttons is a bit annoying.
After the jam we are going to add some friction to boxes, as well as a way to pull them out of corners (as a paid DLC, obviously haha). That’s some useful feedback, thank you for playing!
Such funny slider results. Very cool game!
All the sliders results was the most part of our art team, all the cooleness is thanks to the developers tho ^^
Thank you so much for playing our game!
I immediately created a build too tall to move and laughed until I cried
Haha I’m glad you had fun!
"The way this game blends platforming and puzzles is astonishing, and the unique art style is very appealing. I only wish there were a better tutorial to understand the mechanics, and perhaps the collisions are a bit too basic. Nevertheless, it's an amazing entry!
Thank you very much! The tutorial is on its way, and I did some miscalculation a couple minutes before publishing, so character collisions are a lot more broken than they should. The post-jam version is going to be much more polished!
Good to know! Please keep us updated :D
Will do! 👍
Intro is super neat! Style is beautiful. Idea is nice. Gameplay is't intuitive, some smooth learning the meaning of different stats scaling would be better. Nevertheless i managed to finish the game. 7 flower crowns of 10!
Also check our game too, please :3
We have to implement a tutoria to explain how to use stats.
Little Goblin want you to know that he likes and approve your comment expecially for the flower crown part so he is doing a flower crown to thank you! :)
Love how you select your stats from a character sheet kind of thing. It was hilarious seeing my legs stretch out when increasing speed, and then seeing that walk animation with the long noodly legs.
Thank you! :)
Ahahaha! I'm happy that make you laugh and you enjoyed our game :)
Took me a while to understand what different attributes did, maybe a couple more "tutorial" level could help with that. But after that I really got into it! It's pretty fun to look at the level and try to make a right build to scale all the obstacles (see what I did there? :D).
We want to make the initial tutorial more complete. We explained how to move, but not how to use the different shapes.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed! :)
Great game ! I like the graphics, and especially the gameplay ! Well done :)
Many thanks! :)
Is there something didn't enjoy you because was tricky to understand or to end the level?
Nope, everything seemed perfect !
Quite like the graphics here, especially the opening cut scene. The levels themselves were a little hard to parse. Choosing your build is a cool idea, though I'm not sure if it was meant to be more of a "choose your playstyle" or a "solve the puzzle" mechanic. DIdn't get very far as I had some trouble getting used to the controls, but I think this has potential, nice job!
Thank you so much! :)
It's more "solve the puzzle", so choosing the right stats to complete the level.
Which controls were difficult to get used to? So we can solve the problem! :)
I found the jump didn't always go off even though I wasn't in the air and pushing stuff around was pretty finicky. Might have been a bit tired yesterday tbf so maybe it was mostly me.
Thank you for answering me :)
Nice entry with amazing and beautifull page. Cudos for that! We really liked the gameplay and the idea. Only the character was blending a little bith with the environment. Overall solid entry! Nice job!
We have to fix some bugs and do some stuff better!
I'm glad you like the page and you enjoyed the game, thanks :)
Great submission, I would like to see some intro level where you have to use the different sizes, etc just as an introduction to the mechanics, scaling the goblin is fun though! Very fun game! :)
Many thanks! :)
We are palnning to add a tutorial to explain how to use the different stats to overcome obstacles and to fix some bugs, so it'll be more fun and easy to play.
This is a very pretty game, you did a great job! I really like messing around with the goblin build. When I first started, I got stuck because I made him super long legged and buff and then he didn't fit through the hallway lol
We have to implement a tutorial to make more clear how to use the different stats.
Happy to know you enjoyed! :)
Very cool. LOVE the idea and art. The player seems to be floating just a bit. But well made and very hard first level.
Ahahaha our Little Goblin can floating. We'll fix it! :)
Were you able to complete the game or was it too difficult?
I got to level 4. the arrow trips are brutal. nice job
I agree!
Thank you :)
