How does your game fit the theme?
You play on a planet whose size is constantly changing. Drilling robots will reduce its surface until it disappears, and you'll be able to reinflate it. The gravity and danger will be drastically affected by the scale of the planet.

L'idée est sympa, c'est beau, et agréable à jouer. Petite remarque cependant pour l'utilisation de la souris en plus du clavier, c'était pas opti. Mais sinon très bonne réalisation !

The theme of the competition was played out very coolly, I like it!

The visual and sound design is top notch. You did a great job

I wish this would play outside of the web on my system, because I knew the lag was due to the HTML5 player. However, it is absolutely gorgeous. Incredible artwork. Amazing. Stupendous!

The art was gorgeous!!! It felt a little laggy at times, but I liked the stress of having to keep inflating your planet to scale!! Very hard game! Good job! Played https://twitch.tv/hedge_in <3 vod Day 3 @ 5:07:53

Cool little game! Somehow managed to do much better on my first attempt then the two following ones. Gets very tricky very quickly, but I think that's good for a jam game where people have little time to vote. Style is pretty neat.

Loved the art, very creative idea, very juicy!

Just a little thought: it's weird that you have basically two different life bars (one for the planet, that you can regenerate, and one for the player that does not regenerate). It could be interesting to differentiate the two life bars more, for example have the size of the planet influence your jumping height so sometimes you want you planet to be small to jump on higher enemies. Or just have one single life system (the size of the planet) and make the player immortal, but maybe when the enemies attack him you can have him be stunned for a couple of seconds (maybe precious seconds that will deplete your planet too much).

These are just some thoughts I got while playing the game, feel free to ignore them ^^'

Other than that this is a very well polished game, bravo!

Thank you a lot!
Those are all interesting points to consider, thanks for sharing your thoughts! We have some balance to do post-jam, so every bit of feedback is more than welcome :)

Who has time to make a main menu and an online leaderboard in a gam jam ?? That's insane.
I got somehow frustrated because I often accidentally destroyed enemies I wanted to grab, and the difficulty ramped up pretty steep at some point, but that's a probably a skill issue. And i'm reallt nitpicking because the game is so good.

Developer

Thank you a lot! And thanks for the feedbacks, we'll make some adjustment after the jam is over, we'll try to make the difficulty curve less steep!

I spent way too much time in this game to get to the leaderboard but couldn’t. Those guys are just too good. Needless to say this game is extremely polished and fun.

Very look looking game with a lot of juice and feedback well done. Some of the clicky sound effects did make me feel a bit rough. This game is quite hard to play on trackpad because of needing to press mouse and move at the same time and I wish thorwing the bots was a bit easier. Still this game has an incredible amount of polish and was enjoyable.

This entry got the JUICE. Got ALL the juice needed for a short game jam like this. Cute aesthetic art style, intuitive simple UI, juicy sound effects and gameplay mechanic. Feels very polished and don't see this idea much in this jam, so kudos for originality. Great job all around, enjoyed jumping around it! :)

Thanks for playing, and thanks for such a nice comment, it goes straight to our heart!

Fantastic game! I love how the planet being smaller makes it faster to reach the drills, very good design choice. I find myself destroying the shells I plan to throw at the drills a lot, which is kind of annoying but that might just be a skill issue lol. Graphics are beautiful and the music was very nice. You guys did a great job! :D

Really nice entry fitting the theme with some simple fun mechanics. Thoughtfully scoped and with a nice bit of polish!

Very polished and amazing visuals! i kept getting stuck on top of all the robot heads right when my planet was about to deflate! Great work!

Amazing visuals and a very polished game. The controls feel a little bit sluggish to me.  The idea is also very creative . Overall, a great game.
