Hi. I made a video with the best games in the GMTK 2024 and your puzzle game is included. Here's the link if you want to watch it:

Yay! Thank you for the kind words :)

Great game, but couldn't make the % jump and weight to finish last level

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Glad to hear you enjoyed the game! [Spoilers ahead] In order to finish the last level, you need to shrink down to minimum weight, jump on the button to the left under the level exit, then aim at the off-screen mirrors on the right to enlarge yourself while on the button.

That was very clever! The art is a little rough, but readable and charming. The mechanics are intuitive, competent, and fun to use.

The level design is proficient! I was already impressed with how well the A levels built on the mechanics, but the B levels were especially innovative; B-4 in particular was a real "Wow!" sort of puzzle.

Fantastic! Great work!

the mechanics are very intuitive and there's almost zero friction - I always love to see that

I think the only slight feedback I have is that difficulty is perhaps not very challenging. I'm not sure how bad this is in the context of a jam, but I would have liked some puzzles where difficulty scaled up a bit. But I may be nit picking here. Perhaps some other types of scalable objects or interactions could push the last bit of potential you have

simple, readable, intuitive, fun - good stuff!

This is amazing! It needs more levels! The play hitbox is a bit bigger than it should be and it's hard to get cubes on buttons, but for some reason I love this game. My first 14/15 (you lost one style point).

Such a fun game! It had me playing for a while. Very intuitive, simple yet addictive. Great work- solid game experience!

Nice puzzle game, I managed to finish the game without hints. I think you had a really good concept but could have had levels that took even more advantage of it.

That was good, each puzzle kept me thinking.  Good controls and feel for such a short time.  Seems tight, and with some tweaks to some of the interactions this could scale into a lot more.

Well done implementation of the mechanic. I agree with some of the comments about wishing I could tractor beam the blocks, but its workable regardless. Really like the feel of the controls, the character, and the environments. Nice work!

I had so much fun with this game! Great work everyone involved! The only improvement that comes to mind is that it would be nice to be able to more easily remove blocks pushed all the way onto walls, as sometimes I did that by mistake and then I had to expand and shrink them multiple times in order to fit in the gap and push them away from the wall

This is a very solid submission congrats! The programming was tight and well thought off! Excellent job on the jam!

Wow great concept and great execution! Taking and giving mass between objects and yourself is such a smart idea.

played the entire thing, great job. The puzzles were enjoyable, just difficult enough to make you think for a bit, and fun to play! when you introduced the mirrors and scaling the player, it was so cool!

This is a "Scaled to scale"

I love the mechanics. So smart and well turboing level design.

5/5 Gameplay for me. Thank you for the inspiration

I think the choice to limit the amount of mass in the level was a really smart way to design puzzles around the concept of growing and shrinking objects. I really loved the surprise when I could (spoilers!) grow and shrink myself as well. I feel like there is a high potential for a full length puzzle game out of this gimmick if you chose to go down this path!

very interesting concept! I love the black hole art haha, kinda wish I had a black hole in my game too now lol

Great game! We had the same idea when we were making ours too! Interesting to see another take on the same concept for sure!

What a great game, with even better execution! I really liked the art/setting, and the music was solid as well.

We actually made a very similar game, one where you can also shoot at objects to resize them. Our mechanic was a bit simpler due to our team consisting of just two people, and we actually would've wanted to implement the same mechanics of shooting yourself with mirrors, if we'd had more time or coders. I'm very glad to see it in action in a similar game! Well done!

The game is very clever ideawise we just needed to improve the art and menu design other than that 10s across the board

Really cool and unique puzzle game ! I really liked the mechanics and the different things you do with it, especially in the B levels. The puzzle designs were also really good. I was wondering if you could ray yourself and then there came the mirrors XD. Overall, awesome game. Thoroughly enjoyed it !
