Appears to crash when you’re about to kill the heart

Outside of the crash, it was a pretty nice game! The groups were interesting, as you could send in waves of enemies instead of all of them at once. Though there isn’t much incentive to use them I feel like, since sending in all your enemies at once appears to be a better plan.

Still, good job!

You should be able to play a little longer if you want by not right-clicking while the wave is ongoing. Thanks for the review!

Trully love the idea, feels so good passing these levels

The game is really awesome and the art and music are just perfect. A page to describe the slimes is recommended. Overall a really cool game :)

I enjoyed the style and presentation. It was a cool concept and the music was very well chosen.  :D

Unfortunately the game couldn't run for me, but it looks very pleasing and the concept is interesting!

I have some scrash. Anyway, nice concept and fun game ! Art is really good. Good job !

Seems to have a tendency to break unfortunately, but I really enjoy the concept. Could do with some more unit variety but for the time constraints of the jam it's pretty good!

Enjoyed this a lot! I also had it crash on me, but was able to play a bit more after starting it back up. I'm not entirely sure how the group system works in terms of strategy, so maybe that could be made a little bit more clear. Good work on this!

I really like the art and sound, reminds me of older computer games. Descriptions of the different slimes might have been helpful, because it wasn't obvious what their different characteristics were at first. Had a few crashes as well unfortunately. The heart is a pretty... ominous enemy lol, kind of reminds me of Sanitorium for some reason. Needs a bit more polish I think, but the core idea is cool and the aesthetic is great!

I liked the art style and the concept of the game, but my game crashed a few times. I do like the designs of the enemies, and I can see the Plants VS Zombies inspiration!

The game crashed once for me. I also had trouble really getting the hang of the mechanics, and could not tell what i needed to win/lose at times. That said, the game has really nice art, polished well with smooth responsive animations, and menu settings. Good soundtrack as well. Nice job.

Creepy monsters and music are good! As i understood its Plants vs Zombies reversed, but initially you had different concept. Intresting image of heart. It looks like plants trying to protect it carefully. Good luck!

Had the same bug with cactus :( and was able to spawn creatures on grass

Really Pretty looking game and very fun too, it is executed really well however there are some game breaking bugs and balancing issues; when attacking a cactus atleast one unit will wall through the floor causing a softlock.

and i really dont have any incentive to use any unit other than the base 10 goo unit. there was some text overlap too. 0verall the game is really fun but needs alot of work.

The game is kind of buggy but the graphics are good and the music fits well.

Controls were kinda hard to get at first but once i got a handle of it, it was a great game. love the art and the music

The experience is pretty OK, but the game seems to be pretty buggy.

When I first loaded the game, it refuses to let me plant my slimes. In the next few tries, I was only be able to test the game for a little bit before the game crashed.

Not a great execution, but the idea is quite intertesting.

And the music is prety good though.

The vibe of this game is so cool. Very unique art style I love it.

I actually love this so much! Inverse Plants vs Zombies is a nice idea, and your characters have a lot of charm to them. The heart is just so weirdly threatening, great vibes, great execution, great concept :)

This was an interesting and fun reverse plants vs zombies game! One addition that would help a lot is knowing more what each unit does, if one is more effective than the other against certain enemies. Sometimes I could blitz through quickly by spamming enough bouncy ball units on the field once I was in a later wave with enough resources to make a lot of them.

The original idea was to have a basic enemy, a slow tank, a speedy but weak version, and a healer. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to implement the healer code, so he became a supertank with extra health, and our stat numbers for the different units could definitely use some tweaking. Thanks for playing!

Really fun! The execution of this idea was very well put together, and the interface was really solid for it too. Only suggestion would be a tutorial of some kind. Was good fun!
