Run from the coin is a weird concept but I like it. However, it's hard to me to run from the coin, so I just think that as bullet or arrows XDD
For me, the game runs smoothly and work fine.
Couldn't really play this one unfortunately as it was running at <10fps on my PC :( (ryzen 5 1600, rx 580 8GB)
Fun game! I only made to 412m :'(
Cool game! Though somehow I managed to get my character stuck inside a wall…
Other then that, the game’s fun, challenging with the chasing coins, but also a cool idea!
Well that's a new one haha
Glad you had fun though!
This was fun. The random room layouts and different actions like sprinting and jumping give a decent variety of strategies from room to room which prevents it from feeling too repetitive. The take on the theme is alright, though not very mechanically interesting since the role you play as the player is no different from any other endless runner and the coins could just be enemies in another game. But the theme is just a starting point anyway and the game is pretty fun. Nice job. I managed to get 1183 meters in.
Fun game, like how the coins chased you and how I had to reprogram my mind to avoid them. I wish there was a little bit more "reversing" going on for the theme (maybe play as the beasts chasing the runner? idk). But the game is well put together and looks nice, I enjoyed it. I enjoy seeing unreal though
Haha! Reverse temple run is a smart concept, 400MB it's sadly the bad part of working on unreal for a game jam, but i mean, it's still 400mb not a gb. The game is cool, the graphics are nice, good job :)
Nice! I feel that the coins concept could have been capitalized on a bit more but they are pretty ominous as is.
Fun arcade game! I like the concept of reversing temple run, didn't see that elsewhere in the jam. The hitboxes seemed pretty fair to me and the controls were tight enough to not feel frustrating. Cool to see a 3D game like this in Unreal. Having the coins slightly chase towards you was a great touch that made them feel a lot more threatening. I also like how the game gives you multiple lives to work with too. Nice job!
I really wished to play this game properly, but I think it’s a really well done game for a time limit of 48 hours. It’s definitely a solid entry.
When I saw the screenshots I couldn't believe it, it looks so good! I love temple run too so I was happy to see something similar in this jam. Unfortunately I couldn't experience the gameplay to the fullest on my potato of a laptop, but I had fun with what I played. Great work :)
Game is great! I like that the level is different on each restart. As suggestion, I would change the roll animation to a slide one, I think we can reduce the problem of hitting wall so many times hehe. Good to see Unreal Engine game. Good job!
Okay first of all... 400 MEGABYTES???? What is this, the entirety of the meta verse??
Anyway, always a pleasure to see 3d submissions in game jams. This one was fun and you did a great job with setting the atmosphere for creepy egyptian tomb raiding.
Coins were generally really well placed in the sense that it was possible to sneak through them and it felt really good to do so. That being said, it was a little bit hard overall would have liked to see the difficulty lowered somewhat.
Also maybe I missed it but you never explained Q to roll, had to spam all my buttons to find that one out.
Definetly on the larger size, Im gonna take that into account next time. Glad you enjoyed it overall! The controls were in the top right corner of the main menu but that was probably easy to miss and would have been better placed at the start of each run. Thanks for playing!
I love this take and spin on Temple run :D It's a very clever and creative use of the theme!
Ran a lil slow on my pc (Vega 64, R5 3600).
A little difficult since you need to be super super accurate with your movements, but I suppose that adds to the challenge!
Well done :)
The game reminds me of temple run. Cool graphics and nice design. I enjoyed it
I loved it !!! The concept is really cool and it was well executed. This was a fantastic game, nice use of the theme. Great job !! :D
is like temple run with uncollectable coins!
Nice!
Interesting concept!! i think more could have been done with the concept of coins chasing , and the game ran kinda poorly on my laptop (more of a me thing tho) other then that. It got potential!!
Wow, great game with awesome graphics. I enjoyed the game. Cool interpretation of the theme, I haven't seen such of an idea. Well done.
