This is very cool, but my game was bugged somehow. For some reason, the character sprites were not working. Most of them were showing up like this:

The only part of them that worked were the little animation when you complete a purchase, the skyrim guy for some reason (all of his animations worked), and Isabelle's cute entrance animation. The rest of the time they showed up as those glitchy blue things. I reloaded the page and stuff but it didn't fix itself, unfortunately. Do you guys have any clue what caused this or how I can fix it?

Yeah so turns out cookie clicker was lagging out the game so hard that it couldn't load the sprites somehow... that's what I get for constantly having that game open in another tab lol (high score 272 btw)

and love the inventory sorting part as well, nicely done :)

This is awesome! I have been working on grid inventory game (outside of the jam) and I am digging how your inventory items have cutouts. The system I have developed works great for squares and rectangles, but yours is a cut above. Really great art and the game that fits the theme really nicely.

Fun idea. I ended up just buying everything all the time. Extra points for the stranger artifact reference.

Might be my favorite game of the whole jam, 5/5 all around! The presentation especially was super charming, everything from the different customers to the cat sleeping on the counter. My score was 193, which hopefully is something to be proud of

Nice. I think the highest I managed was 213m but I'd spent the entire game jam testing lol.

This game was so great, I love the mix of the shop keeper game and a tetris inventory system. Love the funny characters, and the art style was really zany and I loved it!

Really fun mechanic and I think this game really stands out in terms of the packing mechanic is the addition of properties on the item to give it an extra layer of depth. Really nicely done!

A core concept polished real well. I loved all the innate world building/easter eggs.

Simple, but the premise is super creative and I wanted to keep playing shopkeeper haha I might set up a little shop of my own now... also the art was amazing! So talented! Unfortunately I am a Philistine when it comes to programming. I just don't understand it.

Fun and an overall very pleasant experience. And as said before, definitely my favorite shopkeeper game of the jam so far.

This is my favorite take on the "you are the shopkeeper" idea I've seen so far! The gameplay is really solid, and the cute characters, references, and music make it even more enjoyable. I especially love how the song changes for each character. Great job!

Really fun! I love the concept of it and your take on the theme. A lot of thought went into this, with all the different types of effects, and I can see it being expanded to a full game. Great work!

Solid gameplay loop, interesting concept and some really well-done art. Would love to see this expanded to a full game!

dude there is so much good art and animations here. Even the shine on the mass effect characters was a fun touch. The whole gaming experience was fun and challenging. Great job everyone involved!

This is such a creative game! I love how you turned inventory management into a fun challenge, especially with all the different modifiers and the timer ticking down. The interactions between the two different phases is very interesting.

Loved all the fun references to other games and seeing all the different items the NPCs had to sell. The art was super cute and interesting. Loved it!! 😊
