Solid level design! And my compliments to the artist - Nearly immediately clicked the thumbnail haha
One gripe of mine is the imperfect collisions - Every now and then, fitting through a perfect, 2-tile gap won't be possible, until I move back, and try again.
But it's no matter - Fun experience!
Keep on fighting,
Blawnode.
Ah yea that’s something to do with the way I implemented the grid snap. It’s actually ever so slightly off (like less than 1/16th of a pixel in some cases), so I have a slight hump on the edges of the platforms to try to “fix it,” but then this happens lmao.
Glad you liked playing it and thanks for your complements!
I have seen many prototypes of this concept in this jam. Unlike most of those, I like the fact that you control the player in play mode. Well done!
Thank you! I was actually originally going to have the player auto-run in the beginning, but then I realized this game is actually pretty similar to Mario Maker and decided to “borrow” that idea.
Good choice! The best games are filled with the best burrowed ideas after all.
This is such a nice game ! I could see this being made into a full game eventually :)
Hey thanks for checking out my game! And yea there’s so many things I have planned for the post-jam release, so it makes me really happy I’m not the only one who wants to see it finished :D
This is a very neat little game!
Very cool & interesting game!
It was fun and interesting, love how there is an "edit mode" that allows you to test stuff at runtime, cool execution.
Fun, short and interesting game! Love it!
good fun! wish it had more levels this is definitely the kind of puzzle game that has a ton of potential
Nice game! cool artstyle aswell
Haha, very sneaky reversing roles like that! Wish you had more time to do more levels, but can appreciate the constraints of the jam period :)
Fun! I liked that there could sometimes be a couple different ways to complete a level. I also liked that you get to test the level yourself afterwards.
Great job!
fun game with pretty good visuals, wish it was longer
this is an enjoyable little game!
Great concept, great execution and great fun, level design helped me learn easily which can be hard to pull off, good job!
Nice little puzzle game! I enjoyed the challenge of desining new paths and way to reach the end! Good job!
Thanks I’m happy you liked it :D
very well designed game!
Thanks!
Im sorry but i cant get it to run. If i click run game it just goes to a plain grrey window.
Edit: tried it on Opera GX and Edge and it didnt work for me on either.
Ah man thanks for letting me know. I have no idea why it’s doing this, I use Edge so it might be a browser specific thing? I’m not really sure but either way I’m sorry you weren’t able to play it. There’s a ton of other great games out there this jam you could check out instead tho!
Might just be bad at programming then and forgot to check/uncheck a box. I’ll probably end up releasing a Windows build after the jam period, but I’m really thankful for you playtesting opening the game!
Really great idea . I was a little lost in the beggining but the gameplay kept me engage really smart way to do roles reverted
Thanks! Yea I think putting in a tutorial of some kind probably would have been smart. Ah well, glad you liked it!
Really nice concept and a cute artstyle. There is great potential to expand the game further. A small tutorial in the game would be nice though. ;)
Glad you liked it and that’s a great idea! I actually had some plans for adding something like that, like a short conversation between you and your boss where he would give you a promotion or smth since ur the only one left, then leading into a tutorial on placing a removing objects, but then I saw the time lmao.
Yeah, time was a great issue for us as well. ^^
