This really adds a twist to the TD games that I saw on the jam, and very well executed. Nice job!

How does your game fit the theme?
There are two main roles in TD games: the defenders and the attackers. In this game, at the end of every wave, the roles reverse, and you must attack your own defence.

Not sure if I played this correctly but I ended up treating this as a regular TD game. I assume the goal was to be able to deflect the enemies but bypass the defense when it's your turn to play as enemy. To communicate this better some fail condition would help I guess.
I will give it another try today, but here is my first attempt:
Yeah, you want to have a just good enough defense to defend the wave, but be able to defeat it during the attack mode. preserving checkpoints during defense and getting them on attack allows you to get more money. You aren't supposed to make the ultimate defense everytime because if you do that you won't be able to attack it. Thanks for playing!
Nice game! It's good to be in both positions, even if I had trouble planning ahead due to lack of informations (maybe description of what the turrets/ennemy does?)
Really good job overall, fits the theme :)
I'm too good at defending it seems, I can't get anything through at wave 6 x)
Definitely an interesting take on the TD genre. I love how you have to balance being defensive so that you can aggress later on. Took me a few tries to get a balance down, but i can see myself spending a few hours on the game just grinding levels. Definitely fun and would like to see more of this later on. The information can be a bit better placed though, so tap your friendly neighborhood UI/UX designer!
Thank you so much, that's what we envisioned. We are already on the process of improving stuff, both visually and code wise. Some people dislike the fact you have to not be super strong on defense to be able to attack, so that's something we are looking into aswell, it would be cool if the game pleased both sides
Really interesting take, even better than my take of my collab for this jam !
I don't like how you can't sell your towers after placing them, and the tower deleting when you restart is annoying too.
The idea is very cool, only remark that I have is that the attack is slow at the beginning if you have a strong defense. Apart from that it's pretty amazing !
i really like how you interpreted the theme and lso the gameplay in general =)
Really interesting concept. I love how it feels like you're playing against yourself rather than playing against the game like normal tower defenses. My only gripe is that I want to make my defense as strong as possible but if I do so, then I can't beat it and have to restart. I know that's part of the strategy, but I feel it would be more satisfying if there was more ways for you to overcome the defenses when you are attacking without making my defense weaker. Great game!
We did talk about something like buffs to enemies and something like spells, but we didn't have much time. It's our first jam either way, I'm glad people are enjoying it as is! But part of that is implemented, with the tower that buffs enemy's speed. We will probably keep working on this, so we are taking feedback and want to add new things for this game. Thanks for playing!
