The game art is amazing and the mechanic is really well implemented making some fun puzzles. The music fits the game and everything is nice and polished great job.

The mechanisms are interesting and hold great potential. The pixel art looks very nice as well. I just hope there are more levels. Still, it's a great job!

Really fun little game :D The last level was pretty hard, for a future update you should add more levels and the possibility to swap from an ennemy to another i think.

Developer

I probably won’t add swapping between two enemies because then it becomes complicated to figure out what is controlled by what.

Good job on the game, it's very polished and I enjoyed the interpretation of the theme. Got stuck on level 3 as well, I managed the slime jump but couldn't get back on the button, the controlled slime could not jump.

Developer (1 edit)

You’re supposed to stay on the button but near the edge so that you can swap with the slime at the bottom.

Cool game idea, good job!

I got stuck in level 3 for way too much time! Still a fun game.

What a shame there was so little to play ! I really wanted more. Super fun puzzle game, lots of potential here. Great work!!!

Some time after the jam ratings end, I’ll be sure to add more levels with more types of enemies.

Super cool idea! I'd soften the difficult curve a little, it become hard really fast!

First thing that popped out was the artwork. It's really well done! Also, I love the puzzle potential with the soul-swapping. Nicely done!

Beautiful pixel art and fun puzzles! I got absorbed in the world right away and am looking forward to the post-jam version you mentioned. Great job!

Submitted

Pretty solid! I like the idea of the swapped creatures AI taking control of the slime, that adds a lot of depth and near infinite potential for this to expand on!

Submitted

Really nice art and good job on the puzzle design concept!

I love the way you swap with the enemies. The extra layer of needing to aim and time the shot with what else you're doing is fantastic! Great take on the theme and well executed :D

Love the idea here and especially the art style! So much fun through these rough puzzles!

I really like how you interpreted the theme. Once I figured out what was going on, it made me go "Aha!".

A great and interesting puzzler. I really liked it!

I really like the concept! Really cool aesthetics. Well done!

YO! Great artwork, love this idea :D Game jams are fun, aren't they!? Impressive project for such little time.

Fun puzzle !

I like the concept. There is some great potential here. Good Job!

The concept it pretty cool. I ended up accidentally killing the slime and having to restart the puzzle though. GMTK's developing series talks about the problems with mixing puzzles and platforming. I think it can be done right though. This concept is def ripe for cool puzzles and it was still fun.
