It's a simple concept in a short game, but the puzzles were intuitive! Nicely done!

I really like the concept and the graphics! I can totally see this concept being expanded on with new enemy types.

This game felt great! I would have liked for a young and hip cow like myself to be the protagonist, but I guess that a slime also gets the job done! Great job on the game again!

Swapping between the enemies was a bit hard on the last level because it looks like the soul swap started way in front of the character, but I bet some decent puzzles could be made with these mechanics if you give it some more time.

Its a pretty cool puzzle platformer, and the core mechanic is rather interesting. I think you should totally expand on this. There are a lot of possibilities. My only feedback is that the hitboxs seem a bit to big, I died a few time due to this, but the game is so fast that it wasnt much of a bother. Great idea, and a good execution, i can not wait to see the updates.

This is a really cool game! I like the concept and the few puzzles are cool. I just wish it had more levels. Do you think you'll add more once the jam is over?

Developer(+1)

Yes, definitely! As well as fixes and added polish and possibly a level editor that no one will use.

Submitted

Cool, I'll have to check that out!

The concept is really clean, and I see a lot of potential for puzzles here - I was disappointed there weren’t more! Gameplay-wise, the only issue I had was that it was difficult to shoot down over an edge, and often there was some awkward shuffling and jumping there. I liked the presentation too, some nice simple pixel art. Overall, I think it just needed more content, but that’s understandable for a solo game jam project. I look forward to seeing more!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for your feedback. The aiming will definitely be made easier in future versions and some other fixes and more levels will be there as well.

Soul Slime! This game is really good! I liked shooting stuff to enemies and solving puzzles with them. You took a good idea and put a great execution on there. Well done! I would improve the background (it feels too static) and putting more light effects and such for improving the looks (the presentation is good, but it can be improved. After all, as I was saying before you did a great job in 48 hours).

Developer(+1)

I’m definitely planning on improving the presentation, as after the jam I noticed that you should not be able to see the individual bricks inside of the walls and I’m planning on adding something like background torches.

Don’t worry, you did a great job! Have a good day!

Really digging the core mechanic as well as the nice pixel art. Short but sweet.

With some careful puzzle design for additional levels this could definitely shine, but that is always a major challenge to do during a jam...

Submitted

Short but sweet game with a clever mechanic! I might've cheesed the last level a bit though baha

Submitted

Really cool mechanic!

Clever puzzle, not very clever me solving this puzzle. Nice to hear you adding more levels. Especially would be fun to see some with more than one solution possible.

Here is my playthrough (warning: I have no idea what I am doing):

Developer(+1)

Thanks for your video! You seemed to have trouble with bouncing and aiming which will be made easier in updated versions. There is already more than one solution for Level 4 where you can beat it without killing the enemy at top (and theoretically you could beat it without using that enemy, but it would need exact timing).

Really good art, so polished, i had a great time playing but the last level... I didn't rate the first time i played because of the dificulty that jumps a lot, but on the second try it was a lot of fun. Great game

I love the final puzzle, it's actually quite hard to solve.

Super nice!

Wow, well done. This game is just awsome, it has the mechanics, artwork and a good amount of my time! Great work.

Really nice game! I had some trouble with the last level but was able to finish it in the end! I just don't know if I did it right haha

The art is really cool aswell!

Great puzzler! Nicely done!

Very nice puzzle game with enjoyable pixel art! Love it!

I rather liked the concept of switching between characters! It makes for some fun solutions to your puzzles. Well Done!
