Very good idea! But I don't understand why an office full of dogs is bad haha

Submitted(+2)

Nice! I was wondering, is there a way to fire someone again ?

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your review! There was at some point during development, but it was too buggy so we scrapped it unfortunately. We might revisiting the game after the jam ends though :)

Developer

You can drag and drop Resume into the trash if you don't need someone :)

Fun concept! I feel like with a few more puzzle-y mechanics, more office layouts, and some levels this could be a very addictive game!

Developer

Thanks for playing! And yes this is what we're striving for :) We might take the time to expand the game in the future

Very original take on the theme. Love it! Very impressive for 48 hours - the art is lovely, animations are very funny and I had a lot of fun with this one!

Developer

We're really glad you enjoyed playing our game :)

Very fun concept, love seeing the dog in front of the computer. Great art style too! I hope you continue to expand & improve upon this after the jam, this is already a great foundation, awesome work! :)

Developer

Thanks! That's encouraging for us!

Great art, animation, and sounds. Smooth gameplay and controls. As others have said, there needs to be a way to fire people. As is, once you've filled in the desks there's nothing really to do. I could see this being a fun challenge with some more time to flesh out the ideas here.

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot! Indeed, there is some gap in the gameplay right now.

Amazing job in this short of time!

Developer

Thank you very much :)

Very funny idea, I was happy about my stinky / cologne people combination haha. We made great profit by 5 PM - really good job, I had a blast!

Developer

Thanks for playing, we're glad you enjoyed it :D

Submitted(+2)

Haha, nice idea, funny enough, we had a very similar interpretation of the theme!

Developer

Funny indeed! Just tried your game, nice entry!

Submitted(+2)

What a fun interpretation of the theme!  I really enjoyed playing :) Nice work, the visuals were cute and the sound effects added to the experience.  Would enjoy giving the odd person the boot, haha

Developer

Thanks you for playing! We're glad you liked it! Yeah replacing people would have been key, but we failed at implementing it, we might update the game after the voting period ends though!

This is a really cool idea.  I wish I could fire people, and I would have enjoyed a tutorial so that I could really understand how some of the attributes interact.  Nice job, you made a fun game!

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot for your review! Everything you mentioned was originally planned, but being first time game devs we did the best we could in 48hrs :D

Submitted

In any case, you all should be proud -- this is a great game

Submitted(+3)

At first I didn't know I couldn't fire people so I stacked everything that appeared and ended up losing the game, if that is added I can see it as a full release, the concept is so good.

Developer

Thanks for trying out our game! The replacing of employees was originally coded in, but too buggy so we scrapped it (for the jam submission at least)

Submitted(+2)

Neat idea!

Developer

Thank you for playing!

Really enjoyed the concept of a common workplace idea becoming a game, and the music and art really sold it!!! However, I do think that the ability to remove or fire people you've already hired would make it a bit more engaging. But overall, great game! Well done :D

Developer

Hey! Thanks for playing :) It was implemented at some point during the jam, but too buggy so we had to scrap it. Of course we figured out another way to do it right after the submission closed :p

Submitted(+2)

Really cool concept, and I love the execution as well. I really like the art style, sound effects and overall gameplay + good use of the theme to come up with something really original. Well done :]

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot for your review! Means a lot to us :)

Submitted(+2)

who need a million dollars if you can fill a room full with dogs!

Developer

We didn't have the time to code it as an alternative win condition ;)

Submitted(+2)

First, the level of polish in this game is fantastic. It creates a really engrossing atmosphere. I just wish there was a bit more game here. Keep working on this!

Developer

Thanks for playing! We're thrilled you liked our game :)

Submitted(+2)

Nice game. Was a little lost at first about the different traits and how they combine.

Developer

Thanks! The onboarding part is indeed not great

Submitted(+2)
