Interesting concept!
The control is unique, although it was really hard for me. I've tried many time but couldn't get past the second jump :c The art and music were excellent though, probably make it a little easier by changing the key layout? etc. I'm not sure myself but I'm sure you know how to work on that though. Anyways, great job on making this!

A nice take, but the controls are very challenging. Having the jump button also on Spacebar could have made things a bit easier.
Oof, that difficulty curve is brutal. I couldn't get past the second set of jumping obstacles. I like the idea of two skillsets bound to two player states, but splitting movement breaks my brain. Requiring precision platforming without much time to practice makes this a lot more difficult than I think you may have intended.
If it hasn't been said - looks like the timer doesn't restart when you fail and restart the level.
I like the art though. The controls were clear, the sprites are nice, and despite the controls being split, they felt pretty good. Music is nice and relaxing.
Overall, well done! Nicely made in just 48 hours. Congrats!
Brutally hard but brilliant game!!
It's brutally difficult and the hitboxes can be unforgiving at times, but it's really fun once you get the hang of it!
Cool concept, and I like the presentation.
The difficulty is brutal, given how much skill is involved in managing the two character’s interaction. I really like the ice/slip aspect of it, however, so I think maybe just adding checkpoints would go a long way to making it more approachable.
This was very challenging at first, the controls for switching between characters were hard. Challenging, but satisfying! And a very interesting take on the theme. Good job on your sub! :)
neat idea. great sense of flow. little hard to get used to though
This was neat, but I found it a bit frustrating having my movement and jump necessitate an extra button press between them. Once I got used to it it was a bit better, though it's still super tough. Checkpoints would probably be super helpful here, because I think outside of the difficulty there's a lot of fun to be had. When you get going you start to feel pretty cool. Nice work!
Very addicting and fun game that quickly built muscle memory required to play it. Although at the beginning I felt that need to switch between characters just to move was a bit too much, I quickly got used to it.
Might want to rethink about the controls, like movement on one skimo and shoot on another is better than splitting the movement since it's very hard to keep up 3 buttons at a time in order to jump.
I mean we did that intentionally with the ice physics and whatnot. That's more or less the whole idea about the game otherwise it'd be just a normal platformer
Usually I hate ice physics, but they actually are required here haha

Love the concept! The gameplay feels consistent with the setting, with the ice being slippy-slidy and letting you build momentum.
Really interesting concept tho I feel that movement to one and bow and arrow to the other skimo might work better. switching between both just for movement seems tedious. Nice art too.
Cool. Takes a long time to get used to the controls. Couldn't figure out how to get past a certain point where the spikes where too low.
I think the hitboxes of the spikes should be smaller in general. Gives the player the feeling of leniency and close misses.

Great game, but not for the weak hearted. I managed to get far-ish in the first level, at the 2nd platforms that end up in a cave full of spikes if you miss the last jump. I will try again soon, I won't let this game beat me yet.
Otherwise the concept is really great and the story is incredibly hilarious! I love games with a sense of humor. Presentation wise, the pixel art and music are great and fit well the theme. The controls are not intuitive, of course, but this is the purpose of the game.Keeping this in mind, I find that the level, until I have reach, is well designed and balanced with increasing difficulty. Can't wait to beat this game!
Took me an eternity just to get over the first spike pit lol. Interesting concept, but really difficult.

Great game! Feels very fitting for speedruns
This game is fun to play but also very difficult. I think this was your intent from the get-go. It fits the theme nicely and it's always interesting to see when characters have two different abilities that you need to switch through.

that is my personal biggest problem as well with the game. Sadly unity was a bit mean with setting up the tiled spike hitboxes and we didnt have the time to manually adjust them. It's definitely high on my to-do list though! :)
