This game made my anti-virus software go waaaayyy up more than usual with the game jam games. So I wasn't able to play it. It kept quarantining the executable. I had to disable it to play. Normally it scans and passes it after a minute or so. Once I got in, it was neat. The art style feels like a mix of something from Virtual Boy and Undertale. The controls were a bit tricky to figure out as they're not following any standard convention. That's something you may want to change.

I'm really glad you enjoyed it, and If you're still interested, I have updated the game to patch the death loop bug and add more to the level (as well as a web version that works on mobile devices).
Since this is made in PICO-8, I can't really change where the buttons are on the keyboard. Sorry.
Be sure to reach the end and make sure you don't get the rare boot Easter Egg :)
I always love a pico-8 game! It looks and sounds lovely. There was a glitch where I would get stuck in a death loop if I ran out of time. I would have loved the game to explore the mechanics of being separated more and have some incentive to go back for Tri?
Good job on the game!

There is a reason why this game feels a little barebones and lacking on ideas. To find out, Be sure to reach the end and make sure you don't get the rare boot Easter Egg :)
I love when Mac support is shown! I like the simplicity of the concept, but wish there was more levels to utilize the mechanics. Everything about the game was charming in its simplicity, and it feels really nice to play. I'm not sure what advice to give other than adding more levels.
Thank you! I'm really glad you enjoyed it, and If you're still interested, I have updated the game to patch some of the annoying bugs the jam version had, and I've also added more to the level (as well as a web version that works on mobile devices).

Fun puzzle platformer! I love Pico 8 games, and this one was nice with responsive controls! Good job!
woah a pico 8 game! This is nice to see in a jam :) Aside from that this is a really cute looking game with a real charm to it, really nice art and gameplay, good work on this :)

strong undertale vibes, but the platforming is definitely the showstealer here. I mean, it feels nice to play. To people confused on what you do: press z.
Really interesting idea. Also a great start of the puzzle aspect. On Linux the controls seem to be all over the place so it was quite akward to play.
