My only complaint is that you should be able to see the line before creating it. Some levels I got frustrated because I keep hitting the maze.

Otherwise, solid game. Reminded me of The Talos Principle.

Sorry for not getting a chance to play your game during a stream but I am running out of time and had a hefty amount of games to get through so I am just playing and rating at this point! Thank you for your understanding :D

Cool puzzle game! Definitely a more straight-forward implementation of the theme, but there's nothing wrong with that. I can spend hours playing simple games like this and never get bored :P I wouldn't be opposed to seeing more levels!

It's nice to see a game made in Python here, great stuff. Good concept and good take on the theme.

I noticed that setting two points to the same location would cause the game to crash

Developer

Dividing by zero error, because I forgot to fix it lol. Thanks for playing!

Really cool game! It flows really nicely, and now all I want is more puzzles!

Great, challenging puzzle game, would love to see more content for this game!

Simple yet challenging!

I just wish there were more levels and elements to spice up the game a bit

Overall, an amazing entry! Great job!

Nice puzzle game, could have done with a little bit better graphics tho

Cool game, I really enjoyed the puzzles! I don’t have much to add that others haven’t already, though I’d love to play this again in a post-jam version if you keep working on it!

Some good puzzles! I like how the puzzles guide the players into a way of thinking often to the players detriment

It's a fun and cool concept with room for a lot of interesting interactions like perhaps mirrors you can somehow bounce the connections off of, though it'd be nice to be able to visually see where you are placing a block and the line between it and the last point. Overall a solid entry, nice work!

This is a nice concept, with some good levels to show it off. You definitely have room to further explore it after the jam if you wanted to. A few people seem to have mentioned a guiding line, which would be helpful, and I'd recommend pairing that with a drag and drop system for the nodes to allow for minute adjustments, which would put more focus on picking the right approach than finding exact placements. Overall this game is a lot of fun, well done :).

Developer

Thank you! If I do work on it further post-jam, I will definitely add some guiding lines. It's extremely easy to implement, but I was just too tired to do it before I submitted.

Liked the concept. I think the starting node being on the left might have made more sense. Sound effects were good. Good job.

The concept of the game was clever, and the puzzles were difficult yet within reason, kept me stubbornly clicking away until I had solved each and every one. It was a bit frustrating to fight to figure out exactly where you had clicked last, there were a couple times I almost had it but wasn't able to replicate it again. Perhaps there's a way of showing the last move in a future update, if you plan on updating this after the jam? But overall, a fun yet challenging game I was invested in completing. Good job!

Really cool idea! I liked it! It feels like the player should start on the left node (since people typically read/see things from left to right) and the hitboxes could be adjusted slightly, but it was a fun and really cool puzzle game! Makes you think about every move you make! The moves being limited to only 2-4 turns per level is really interesting! I like that some of the levels' approach are different than one would think, but I think there should be some levels where you have to intertwine through the obstacles a bit more as well, but that's just me. Great job!

It was a really good puzzle game! It could use some quality of life improvements like showing which is the beginning and end and where your line is going to be placed, but otherwise, it's solid!

pretty decent entry! a unique idea that gets explored enough in the few levels in the game. there was definitely an "aha!" moment in that last level. i think a tutorial was needed, i didn't really know what to do. there was also a bug where i aaccidentally misclicked but solved the puzzle because the line went through a box.

I liked the idea of the puzzle! I found it a bit frustrating when it came to the really really precise bits, I didn't feel like I had the tools to really plan it out. It would be nice if there was some way to predict where the line would go, or make slight adjustments rather than just fail. Super cool concept though, hope you take it further!

Developer

Yeah, a lot of people have suggested having a guiding line. Sadly, I wasn't able to implement it because I was just too tired and had to sleep. Thanks for playing it, though!
