Interesting platformer. I included it in my GMTK compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Thanks for playing! I think something happened with the footage tho :p The recording for Whale Eater seems to freeze on the title screen

HOW DID YOU MAKE THIS IN 2 DAYS WTF

Submitted

Beautifully done! I thought it was particularly clever design to keep the player in air after they walk off a platform instead of falling, because it made traversal much more tricky and consequential. The only thing I could suggest doing to improve it is to add the ability to undo one move at a time, to keep the player in flow.

Woah, this game is so good its hard to believe it was made it just two days! This is amazing for the time allotted and I would be impressed with this game even if it wasn't from a jam. The art, animations, sound, and puzzles are all really great. It has the perfect amount of screenshake too and I love how it feels when the level flips. The tone is really cool as well. Really great job!!

This is just a wonderful game from start to finish. It felt so nice to play, and the puzzles kept introducing elements the moment that I thought I'd figured it out. Well played! Just wonderful! My only minor quibble is the volume of the harpoon sound effect, because that creeped me out every time.

one of the most original concepts for a puzzle platformer I've seen so far!

I see that the concept is excellent. I am too tired to solve the puzzles though ;(

Amazing game!!! That's crazy what you've done in 48 hours! I had so much fun!

Love the art. At first I thought it is similar to the hook indie game. Later when I hook the platform that is definitely new to me.

Amazing artwork, and phenomenal level design, especially with letting the text rotate with the world.

Man this is one of those jam games that feels really fleshed out, pun intended, I really had a great time playing it and exploring the mechanics! You did an amazing job designing and implementing these levels and not only did the abilities feel good, they also looked amazing with a lot of juiciness to them, like the flesh wrapping around the harpoon when you spear into it.

I'd love to see this built out into a full game! I'd give suggestions, but I think you know exactly what you are doing :)

Fantastic job!
