i made a doughnut-mushroom-pickle-apple-corn sandwich, my life is complete

Ah yes, who does not like it for breakfast, the doughnut sandwich :D

I hate spiders but somehow found this little guy very cute. Would love some more controls like jumping.

I love the pixel art and sound effects! Good work!

Saw the title and had to play it. Didn't disappoint! Super cute pixel art and a fun concept. Think the sound design could use some work though; the feedbacks are a bit grating and who doesn't want to make spider sandwiches with some music. Great overall though, well done.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! Could you tell me specifically what sound is grating (if you know)? If it is the sound when you release an item, I was thinking maybe it could use more impact; I was going for some sort of "snapping out of a trance" sound... or something... I'm not sure if it works, so it's great to get feedback about it.

Great game! I liked the concept very much. I had some problems, when droping an iteam, because it jumped  a little bit forward, instead of just falling. Maybe you could change that. But I really enjoyed playing the game and found your sound-effects very great.

Thank you for the feedback! A lot of games with pick up-able objects have an option to either drop the object gently or to launch it, maybe I will do something like that in the future to give the player more control.

Hey! I'm doing great, thanks.

The title perfectly describes the game.

The graphics and controls are pretty good. The sound effects are okay. :D

I got stuck under the mushroom at one point and had to restart, but I finished it!

Fun little game! Well done! :D

Hi! I'm fine, thank you for asking =D (Find the little easter egg and you'll know what I mean ;D)

I had too much fun with this one level I guess xD But I hope my Doughnut Sandwich is tasty <3

Developer(+1)

Wow, I'm surprised at how many people found that. I guess it isn't too hidden because the world teaches you that you can use the ingredients as platforms. While developing I thought that it would be sneaky since I made the easter egg before building the world xD

Thank you for playing!

Amazing title for sure haha! Loved it~

When I saw the name I had to play it haha. Really nice game, cute spider and fun to assemble my very creative sandwiches!

Developer

Glad you liked it!

great concept, the picking-up mechanic was well executed. who would have thought spiders have such culinary talents? 1 bug to report, the spider got stuck under the sandwich and couldn't move lol

Developer (3 edits)

Thank you for playing! R.I.P. spider; got squished by its own sandwich D: (sorry)

The art is really cute and I dig the idea. Open for a lot of possibilities like spider-powers in later levels. Maybe you can unlock using your web or something. Or the ability to climb on walls? Lots of potential! Great job!

Developer

Hmm, yeah it would make sense for a spider to be able to do that... I just chose to make the player a spider because I thought it would be fun to be a spider, not really thinking about what spiders do :P. Thanks for playing!

Seriously though very very cute game!

Nice art syle. The games a bit vague tho, I dont rly know what im doing

Developer

Yeah, as I said to another person: I was thinking about some sort of objectives thing but didn't have time to... so I just threw the player into a world with some ingredients.

Cute little game ! I'm not sure what the goal is, but is was a fun little moment =) ! I made some sandwiches (with... donought xD ?) and that was enjoyable ^^ ! The game doesn't seem to like when I dropped ingredients "inside" others (to stack them), sometimes they teleported out of bounds, but apart from that, it was a nice experience !

PS : I am fine, thank you =) !

Thank you! I was thinking about some sort of objectives thing but didn't have time to... so I just threw the player into a world with some ingredients lol. I'm glad that people seem to like it though.

I see you are in the “italian plumber saves princess from mutant turtle” school of game design :)

Congrats on the game :D

Is all the audio made with an harmonica ?? It's very nice and the art is cute, good job!

Developer

Thank you!! Not all the audio is made with harmonica but the jump and land sounds are.

this is a cute little game! Definitely something to expand upon in the future.

One glitch I found was when I tried to pick up the corn after stacking it to reach the higher platforms, it just disappeared...not sure why. But overall cool game!

I'd appreciate it if you could play/rate my game as well! :)
