Very cool concept! This is like Super hot meets Asteroids, and the concept works well. Fun gameplay, good execution. I might just be bad, but I would have preffered a bit lower difficulty curve at the start, then ramp it up. Great job!
Great reference to a classic game! I thought that the concept of the asteroids moving faster when you did created a more complicated version of asteroids, where if an asteroid was moving towards you instead of running from it you had to move out of the way. Very faithful to the original, but there is also the original, though I feel like the massive asteroids and the speed mechanic make this game feel different enough from the original. Great job!
Sick take on asteroids man! I had fun playing it and really enjoyed the visuals! The controls were a little wonky and I still think the way you tied into the theme made sense but may have been better if when the player moved faster the asteroids moved slower, giving more of a risk/reward scenario. Nice visual feedback and sound effect! But It's a bit to difficult for me. lol
This game is difficult. Even if I stay still, the asteroids move hella fast, so I'd suggest slowing it down a little.
As for the visuals, glow is kinda overused IMO but that doesn't mean it won't work, the graphics is nice. One small issue though: if you're going pixel art, I might recommend making the pixel size consistent.
I might be a little hasrh, but nonetheless you did a great job!
Really nice presentation, but also a really difficult game for me to get a hang of. I think some play testing and difficulty adjustments can make this a great game. Keep it up!
The visuals and sounds are great but extremely difficult. I can only kill one asteroid but usually I instantly die because they are so big and move so fast.
The game was super difficult at first, but it became somewhat manageable until the inevitable huge asteroid came in and killed me every time. Other than that, the concept is super interesting, and while the speed changes were not the super noticeable unless you paid close attention, I could see this being super fun if you balanced it a bit. The art and visual effects were amazing and the death animation was honestly a bit too satisfying (I was almost looking forward to it). Great game!
This game is extremely difficult. I felt discouraged from moving because doing so meant certain death for my ship. You nailed the presentation though, the sprites combined with post processing effects (which weren't overdone, thankfully) made for a really neat look. Nice work!
Aced presentation and brutally hard, the "joined together" speeds could be more noticeable imo. but that's a minor thing. great submission :)
fun but that the speed is connected to the meteor speed doesnt change much
