The idea of getting pushed off the edge, rather than just failing if you don't turn in time, that's a really good twist !

This showed Simplicity  to the fullest

simple but really fun

This is one of  THE most addictive games I have played in this  jam so far! This could be released on the play store, TODAY, and no one would know any better. Simply Amazing!

Good idea. I wish the controls weren't inverted. When I pess A I expect it to turn clockwise.

Also. . .

Short and sweet! The fact that you don't lose on a miss is a great addition though it gets very anxiety inducing at higher scores lol trying to re-center yourself gets hard past the 30s

Scored 30, it gets very very fast !

But indeed, it's a cute and addictive idea !

I will +1 everyone saying that I can absolutely see this becoming a mobile game, perhaps expanded to seeing more than one block on the screen / your main dude having more than one hole. The style is a bit minimalist but I think it works quite well with these types of games.

Brilliant in its simplicity, the fact that getting it wrong does not automatically kill you but instead pushes you to the edge gives you a whole another level of play where you can allow yourself to be pushed if needed, great work there. High score is 55 >:D

Ok haha, I guess I have to make this a mobile game now! Yeah I think I want to make it more complex, I sadly didn't have time during the jam though, If I do upgrade it I will definitly add that. thanks!

What a neat concept! Challenging and fun gameplay :)

I enjoyed how you used the mechanics to implement the game over, it's really elegant!

Really simple and fun gameplay! Wish there was a bit more of an art overhaul, but I could totally see myself playing this game on my phone at 3am in bed!

Developer

Yeah, I'm working on my art skills, I'm pretty bad with visual stuff so I usually just use basic shapes, hopefully soon ill be good enough to actually use real art in a game! Thanks! A lot of people have been saying it would be a good mobile game haha.

Super easy to grasp the mechanic, and it's lots of fun in its simplicity. Could definitely see this as a mobile game. The pushing of the block to lose is a great representation of your health that also affects gameplay as it gives you more time to react to cubes that could kill you easier. Nice work :)

Developer

Thanks! I didn't even think of that haha, that is a pretty good interpretation.

Cool game! Took some time to not instinctly press the directional key that corresponds to the next piece ^^ Fun!

Developer

Thanks! wdym by the second part? Do the directions feel like they are backwards?

Submitted

If a piece came from above I pressed the up-key, if it came from the left the left-key and so on. Nothing wrong with the controls, just my tiny brain :P

Developer

oh ok haha
