That was really fun, and, at times, really frantic; figuring out what different spells did and then setting things up for maximum mayhem was great. The art was neat too (I love how floppy the wizard's head was).
There was some wonkiness with the audio - it sometimes appeared, played for a few minutes, then cut off - but other than that, fun!
Great idea, l think some more sound would have made the experience better, overall I liked it, good job!
This game is very cool! I enjoyed it, it's a really fun concept! keep working on this after the jam, i'ts a very cool project! rated! please check out my game too :D
Interesting game. I'd like to see how it would look with more spells. Maybe some that can affect you as well
Thanks for playing and for the feedback. I did have ideas for some extra spells and had originally planed for the player to be able to aim at themselves as well, but didn't have time to add that stuff in. I might update it post-jam and to include those things.
amei amore, continue fazendo jogos legais iguais esse
nice game, I like the wobbly physics and random spell casting. sometimes you want to miss in order to prevent making the enemies stronger.
Ah, glad somebody liked the wobbly heat/hat. I probably spent too much time getting that working properly. Thanks for playing!
Amazin game! The idea is also very interesting, the visuals are nice. Well done! Keep creating games!
The mouse could be better, but the concept is cool! Making giant goblins is so fun! Well done.
That's a cool idea. I like how the spell bar is visible, even though I had no control over it. I liked the variety of effects too. The enlargement spell was just hilarious.
That mouse sensitivity is out of control !
I like the feeling you get when accidentally maximizing an enemy, especially multiple times in a row, a true "Oh Sh*t" moment ^^ !
Haha, some accidental theme adherence. Will definitely lower it in a post-jam version.
Thanks for playing and glad you enjoyed that, it was one of the most fun things in testing. At first I considered setting a limit on how many times they could grow but realised leaving it uncapped fit the theme and made it more exciting.
It was very fun to use the out of control wand. If you have the motivation you should keep polishing this game with peoples feedback (like the mouse sensitivity hehe). Congrats on successfully submitting a game to the jam and I hope you learned a lot of new gamedev skills. Please check out my game when you have free time :D
Glad you enjoyed it! I'll definitely polish up things like that for a post-jam version (it's crazy the blind spots you can have without getting feedback), and potentially add some features I didn't have time for. Thanks, it was definitely a great learning experience. Just have done, I really enjoyed it, and left a comment with my thoughts.
Very well executed take on the jam theme and is very similar to my game in some aspects however, the mouse sensitivity was way too high.
I like the game but unfortunately the mouse sens. became a problem, it's way too frustrating. Overall very cool submission, well done.
Very fun game, there is only one detail that the mouse sensitivity is very high, but that doesn't stop you from playing :)
The mouse sensitivity makes the game almost unplayable.
Thanks for the feedback. I guess I was very used to it from testing, but I can see it would be improved by lower sensitivity. For anyone struggling, relying more on strafing makes it easier.
